@@seeratbhat7970 Yes, I tried it and it came out well. I did not use long grain basmati rice, but the regular sona masuri rice that I cook normally. I cooked kheer for almost an hour and kept stirring frequently. I added only kishmish / resins. I did not add any rose water. And it tastes best when it is cold, after keeping in fridge for 3-4 hours. Very creamy!

LMAO. I skipped to only where it shows what ingredients were added. I know making Kheer is a long and careful process; but unless someone is really a bad cook that you have to see eeeeeevery detailed and in slow pace, then ya this video is for that person. I, on the other hand just needed the ingredients. So I skipped all that drama music. Overall, I love this recipe.

H_Plus Long grain Rice has a better taste as well as aroma. you need that aroma which is an integral part of the dish.

I just made this and it came out really good! thanks for the recipe! :) the only difficulty was the sugar part... so started off with a couple tablespoons and tasted my way... think i used about a 1/3 cup of sugar in the end - how long will they last in the fridge?
