Definitely one of your best videos, my man. I still check back to it from time to time and tighten up on what I've missed. Right now I'm 2h fury slam spec and just replaced my Demonshear with the OEB last night. I'm at 6% hit. Once in at 9%, I may consider DW. I just love swinging around a huge blade of death upon every enemy in my path that it's hard to was to change. I leveled arms and pretty much 2h tanked most of the way up in arms spec and sword and boarded it only when things got thick. The fury slam spec is a little tricky getting used to after playing arms all this time and playing prot for a few weeks once I hit 60 but I'm enjoying the learning phase. I've already doubled my dps from my first raid back after all these years to my second. It's definitely rewarding. Looking forward to more of your videos!

Any warrior worth his salt will realise that the bonereaver's edge (from ragnaros) with a 2h fury build (without slam) will outshine any of these dual wielders. BRE is overpowered to hell, sure you can replace it was th a stronger weapon but it's stacking buff on you can't be found anywhere else, with tanks or dual wielders using annihilator this further increases as the BRE proc applies it's buff on you and not the boss / target. Only needing 9 percent hit is a godsend too, with higher crit you won't even need to take imp overpower, literally stay in beserker stance forever. It goes without saying horde have it so much better with WF but alliance 2h fury slamless builds do incredible DPS, way more than dual wielders.

Need to add, just in case this is actually read that a good starting weapon for this that works amazing for human warriors is the obsidian edged blade (42 str and +7 2h sword skill giving you that extra glancing blow damage and more rage). The rotation is pretty standard but do note if you take imp cleave then the burst is real, 2h fury burst is stupidly insane given enough crit. Take imp overpower til you get around 30-33% crit. another thing worth noting that dual wield doesn't get massive benefits from flurry on classic in that flurry works differently to that of private servers. Flurry only takes charges away from you with white hits, parries and misses, yellow hits don't take a charge from you, meaning you can get way more attacks off with flurry still up than a dual wielder can, hence the 30-33% crit I mentioned prior to practically get 100% uptime within the allotted time flurry lasts. The 9% hit instead of the usual 11-14 most dual wielders go for means you can focus on crit and AP / str. 2h fury gives you so many more options for gear because of this.

Warrior with the top logs switches to dual wield in single target because it's better then his BRE, BRE is good in MC because it has a bunch of fights with cleave with non boss level mobs, dual wield with 305+ weapon skill is better single target, BRE proc is mostly wasted because the boss armor will be really low with the right debuffs. Also with heroic strike queuing you don't want hit rating past the yellow damage hit cap, 2h and dual wield fury gear is the same now.

Hey Punkrat, Nice vid dude! One thing about Death Wish, Reck and consumes. You dont want to pop them at 20% most of the time. It all depends on the fight. Look at the timers on the abilities. Look at how long the boss-fights normally take (in your raids) and adapt. This way u have the best overlap of DW, Reck and consumes. If u do this, you will rise above other Warriors who dont with ease 😏

@ThisIsWhyImEz so it was believed to be a bug but a blue on the official forums confirmed it was by design that while you have heroic strike/cleave qued up your off hand attacks as tho it was a yellow attack, this removes the dual weild/off hand penalty, meaning you only need 9% hit /6% hit with 305 weapon skill to make your off hand not miss from behind while heroic strike and cleave are qued up. Now alot of us have macros that que and then cancel the cast so you can control the timing of your off hand swing to make sure it hits

I'm leveling my warrior and honestly, it's smoother than I expected. I do not experience it to be hard or a drag, more like, enjoyable and comfortable. Two main things many warriors overlook: slam's power in classic (fast kills after lvl 30) + sick spirit scaling (low downtime). I'm 34 so I don't even have WW/MS yet, just crushing it with slam and a slow meaty axe doing good DPS while regenerating like 70-80 health per tick. My gear focus are items with strength+spirit, agility+spirit, stamina+spirit or a combination of three (usually blue quality, mail+spirit is often underpriced on AH). Before this I leveled a mage and really, the /played time is 15% to 20% more, and a part of that is just because of mages' teleport, so really, it's not that bad. You just need to think rationally and confess that spirit and slam are very, very strong for leveling. --- I'm also leveling arms. Being able to sweeping strike two mobs every other pull or on accidental double pulls is extremely strong and saved my life a few times as well. Anger management allows me to slam before nearly every white swing, even with low crit, making it a fluent, high sustained DPS experience. Yes, being hit puts back your slam cast, but you simply compensate by casting slam a second earlier, aligning your slam cast and white swing pretty evenly. All you need is a good swingtimer, especially one that can change color at your prefered swingtime. Good luck and enjoy!

Dont give up. Come late 40s and on there are no good weapons that make leveling a breeze. At this point each mob will almost kill you and you will need to eat after every mob. I went dual wield for the extra sustain tonlower downtime.

If u r in raid environment, your goal is to MH heroic strike/ cleave as much as possible (while respecting your spell priority), as these 2 spells can't be glancing blow and dual wield hit penalty is switch off (24% -> 9%) while u *que* the spell. u want crit to proc flurry (33%crit for 80% up/44%crit for 90% up in 4 hits if u dont get crit cap), proc windfury, generating rage with your hit capped OH while queing heroic strike. Hence the good old wisdom of faster weapon in OH, damn slow weapon in MH.

is not being capped at 308, BUT after 308 or 310 not sure, each weapon skill translates into less hit rate and increasingly so. Meaning, suppose you get 1% hit from each skill point, after you exceed let's say 308, you will be getting less than 1%, let's say 0.7 for 309 and 0.07 for 315 (those are just some random numbers, you gotta check the exact ones. Which makes it not that valuable to stack weapon skill after certain point

I think the war can be the meanest bad as in the game but he is also the hardest to use as I had a warrior for a few year back in 2005 to 7 and I was shit in all specs I got my ass kicked all the time and blamed it on the warrior being shit and I changed to a pala and started beating horde warriors 4 levels above me no problem and I thought yeah that confirms it the warrior is shit but really I was just a shit player because I watched a video of a horde taurine war in the arenas and he beat every other class and not just beat but destroyed and done things I thought was impossible for a warrior to do and then I realised the warrior is the best but you have to be an exceptional player to get the warrior to fight to his true potential and my hat is off to that guy who was a god with that taurine warrior

It's the same as the rotation he explained, only difference is to use slam immediately after an auto attack when you have excess rage. I avoid using it during flurry procs, as well.

As a warrior I cringe when other warriors save everything for Execute phase just to jump from mid range dps to the top of the pack acting like they did all the work. Ya its GREAT for any boss that has to be burnt quickly when under a certain % but most bosses in Vanilla don't have that burn phase(at least not the first few raids). I go more for a steady flow of buffs during fights and keep myself around the top 5 if not top for the majority of the fight.

also do the reasearch and you will see that the top dps in the game actually is a feral druid with some really wacky gear and 200g in consumables and quick swaping weapons from Alcor's sunrazor to the 2h mace u get from pummler in gnomergan to use 1 of the 3 charges the mace has so it is a weap a feral druid has to fame like mabie 30ish of them prior to raids.... anyway super try-hard not really worth it and failure to do this makes you the weakest dps.... so for any feral druid out there thinking they gonna be good.... understand you can but you will spend 4 hours a day farming gnomergan and 200-800g a raid in just consumable and a 1000-1500g BOE dagger off the AH......

Past a certain point of gear. 2h Fury stays around for a little bit at the beginning of a server because of lack of hit. From what I understand, it tends to stick around juuust a little bit longer for Horde than Alliance simply because of WF.

I am getting tired of this constant 16 debuff slots. What are the 16 debuffs that are required? Further more I assume that unless your on the bleeding edge of progression the debuffas aren't mandatory. Back in vanilla when I did mc it didn't seems to be an issue and I raided as enhance shaman. I'm not sure this is an actual issue. Yet every single video on every single class bangs on about debuff slots.. grinds my sbit it does lol
