I don't think Punk has a big problem with nervs, more so he just plays to the crowd a bit to much. Most of the big matches he loses are usually right after he fights an even bigger or just as big name the game before, so assume he gets a bit of an adrenaline dump especially when popping off to the crowd after big matches before going into his next big match.

Hey, lets be fair to Punk, he HAS won more tournaments than most of the top FGC guys and when he does lose in big tournaments its usually always to other top tier guys who have played against him multiple times and have an idea of how they need to play against him if they want to win. Thats why I hate when people immediately talk about him not winning Evo or Capcom cup, its like bro, he has won a lot of other big competitions (and technically he did win Evo Japan). The sad part is that even if he did win one of those tournaments people still wouldn't want to give him his credit.
