What a very special pooch........I had a lump in my throat when Gobi couldn't cross the river to follow Dion and Dion went back to get her. It was all over at that point. What a perceptive dog who decided who her human was going to be. People can think I'm nuts if they want but there are some things that happen on a spiritual level that we can't explain but no explanation is necessary. One of God's creations asked another of God's creations to please help them and she used the only form of communication she had........That little Gobi is one extremely tough cookie to hang with Dion, running the whole way and never looked back. Did ya ever notice how dogs & cats never try to appeal to violent or evil people?? If your pets continue not to like someone or act like they feel threatened, you better act on that. Pets are smart about character. What a great story. Thank you Dion & family for bringing Gobi HOME. 💙💜🖤

Gobi's fate likes my dog DoDo. I found a stray dog, I named him DoDO when he was 2 months old in 5 years ago in Shenzhen China. I couldn't bring him to go to my home in Hong Kong because my estate is not allowed to foster dogs under the estate law. I just asked for my friend in Shenzhen to foster DoDo in his rented apartment and I went back Shenzhen to see DoDo and brought some daily necessaries to DoDo every weekend. Surely DoDo built up closed relationship with my friend and me soon. In the July last year, I persuade my friend to bring DoDo to go back to his home in Sichuan for DoDo's forever home. From Shenzhen to Sichuan, it took more then 40 hours to bring DoDo to my friend's home by 3 buses with more then 1100km. Finally DoDo got his forever home and got extremely love with my friend's dad and daughter so DoDo got to be a chubby dog and need to be on diet now. Actually, DoDo is a very cleaver dog. He knew eat the Lai-Chi and Sweet Potato to bit off the skin the eat the pulp with teaching by nobody.

I recently listened your book Finding Gobi, and what a wonderful story! I felt like I was right there with you two through every marathon, walk, and your journey home! It reminded me of when I adopted a dog during a military mission in Micronesia and brought him back to CA USA with me. The Chinese government often brutally slaughters stray cats and dogs everywhere, and even cats and dogs adopted by others, which is very inhumane! Gobi, you are very smart and sensible. Dion I am a a fan of your book and videos.When I was reading your book I think in my head what theme should it be and I said(NEVER GIVE ING UP IN YOUR DREAMS OR JUST NEVER GIVING UP.I felt really sad when in the book It said Gobi is missing.All of my friends saw it at school and they always ask me if they can read it and I always say yes.You are a great dad for Gobi.In February 22,2018 there is a book fair at my school and I saw a Finding Gobi and I said in my head I will get my own copy.It cost $7.00.Hope you don't lose Gobi again.Here is another theme of your book when all of the people help you find you BFF pup or dog.Team Work Makes The Dream works.
