Actually, lore-wise, this is more of a darker turn to IGOR, where puppet is the last song, and it just ends up being the culmination of Tyler's jealousy, anger and confusion towards his partner hiding his real self, thus the ending having that last conversation seems very fitting to the end of the album, as he shoots and kills his partner. The beat's reset at the final seconds of the song just seems like if Tyler entered a loop of thoughts full of grief where he vividly remembered what happened that night.

Let me correct you, actually tyler doesn't kill his partner, he's in an interview with his friends and also his partner. He shoots one of his friends "Elvis" cuz he was leaving that interview, scared by looking at his gun and knowing what will happen afterwards. IGOR has lost his mind and saying "what did i just do" and all that. His friends left. It's only the interviewer (i guess dr. TC, idk it could be any interviewer at this session) and he tells IGOR (tyler) to bring the gun to him and that everything would be ok from the part where he says "You don't have to worry about a thing". And then the song transitions to WHATS GOOD. It's not the real lore of IGOR, its just an extra that i put myself!

This is definitely a long shot but in the sanctuary Joji music video, Joji's friend sacrifices everything he had to fulfill his wishes to see him smile again even if it hurts him too. Making the songs slightly relate to each other, as puppet's premise is a toxic relationship in which one wants to give themselves and give up their freewill to please the other. Definitely tweaking though.
