I LOVE a movie review that doesn't have viewers dancing on a string by talking in circles, and this is yet another GREAT review, with no strings attached I might add, by The Maniac!

Oh, and if you like this one and haven't ever seen Dolls from roughly the same general era, check it out, it rules.

I'm so glad you gave us a puppet master review. Much like yourself, I also fell in love with this movie series as a kid. In fact, A blade puppet was the very first thing I had purchased from the Internet, I begged my mom to get for me way back in the america online days lol

Puppet Master will always have a special place for me because at the end of the tape after the movie there's the first Videozone! The "No strings attached " making of is awesome I had never seen anything like this before!😱 I have almost all of the Videozones from VHS Full Moon movies. Good review and cool video Justin!👍 Show more of Cooper in the future having more doggies in the video is always a plus!🐕

How do you have almost all of them? There are like 100s of them in the VHS era.

I also grew up with Puppet Master, really regret selling the action figures but I needed money. My fave is Retro Puppet Master, directed by the genius David DeCoteau, who made the masterpiece "A Talking Cat!?!".
@speedweed6835 күн бұрын
It also stars mark from the room iirc

Did you know he also directed part 2 and 3? He is a genius. He directed nightmare sisters and sorority babes in the slimeball-bowler-rama.
@locnar14 күн бұрын
@lukejbarnett1 yes! I'm unironically a fan, DeCoteau does fit the auteur theory quite well. He knows what he wants, has certain recurring quirks (underwear, talking animals, etc), and comes in under schedule and under budget.

You have hundreds of full moon movies on VHS? That's crazy. How did you collect them all?
@jeffpearson76739 күн бұрын
Love the Puppet Master franchise. I have only watched 1-5 and Retro Puppet Master. Now that I have the blu ray set that includes the first 11 films, I will eventually get around to watching them all.

11? That's insane. That's almost the same amount of films as the Friday the 13th series.

I'm like you and most fans where I enjoy the first few in the series, but not so much later on. Retro Puppet Master & Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys are both REALLY bad. Jester is probably my favorite.
