So enjoy the journey. We had a boxer and adopted a cane corso. He was 4 and she was 3. They have been amazing together. They play , wrestle and snuggle together. We have never had 2 dogs that close together. Its exciting to watch bruce and justice grow together.

I love how Bruce always looks back to make sure Joey is following him. Bruce isn't really showing it but I think he's been in love since they met. He's just earning his respect from his new best friend 🐾💞🐾 When you predicted it would be 3 months I giggled knowing Bruce is much too kind and lovable to be grumpy that long. 3 weeks is my guess and it's because of the way you're working with them. My Boerboel came into my life at 6 months old and 80 pounds so it's taken tons of patience, love and strength to get him well trained. He's now 13 months old and 180 pounds. These dogs are incredibly gentle giants and will do whatever it takes to make us happy 😊 I can't wait to watch your gorgeous boys bond and grow together 💙

me too. it is absolutely not imaginable to bring my dog with me like that….have sitting her behind the table…. we would be told to leave immediately ….. no one will talk to me or to the dog. in a friendly way. very sad. but reality where i live…..no coffee shops for us…..

I've been watching your journey with bruce and justice so far and from what you've shown bruce seems to have warmed up to joey a lot! Hi Jason, love your content. We have just rescued an 15 month old Bull-Dane. Your video's have been so helpful in training our dog. He had no training at all and had been neglected. He has separation anxiety amongst other issues but nothing we cannot deal with. I love this community, and love the love for the giant breads. Adult rescues can be a handful. Mixed breeds can be a handful, because their behavior can be hard to predict. We have 2 adult recues now, and it took a year or more to really see the damage that seems to have been done to the female. She has real baggage and even after almost 4 years, she has a lot of weird. The other is a mix, too - but not as weird. I wish you the best with your dog. I'm watching these videos, not just because I enjoy watching pups and the development here, but also seeing the successful training.

When Justice was holding onto his little green stuffed animal, it almost looked like he was 'suckling' it for a moment. Our mastiff pup would do this at 6 wks old. He's now 18 mos and still does it to his stuffed monkey. It's their way of selfsoothing. Curious to see if JJ is going to be a suckler. He's so stinkin' cute!

Growling is the only way I’ve been able to express disapproval to my English bulldog, everything else causes confrontation or withdrawal. I started doing it for no reason other than to try something different. It was interesting to see how effective it was with Joey.

I just adopted a cane corso boxer mix whose 1yr2mo old. He’s a sweetheart and good with other dogs. Going to work with him on leash training and pulling, which in my week of experience he seems to only do in the snow bc he gets really excited about it. I’m 19, and don’t have the most support from my father whom I live with. Katana is pretty insecure and I would really appreciate any tips on how to build confidence in him and any walking tips. Karen is damn good. It must be very hard getting up at 2 am and having to go to work . She’s a gem, that would be hard to do but I guess they are both your kids. I know what it’s like having an autoimmune disease and wanting to contribute more but you can’t cos your energy levels - chronic fatigue, won’t let you. Both of you appreciate it each other. Karen, you are a gem girl. Just keep communicating and listening to each other so you are both on the same page as you both appear to be doing. Great stuff Karen - a big yeah for Karen.

As a long time trainer, the first thing I tell dog owners with a new puppy is never use they're name when a correction is needed. To get their attition use a sharp sounding word. such as "Hay" said is a different tone then you'd use calling their name. They will associate that word with a correction. Only use their name for love and affection. It's fun to watch you get out with the little one and get him used to all the different sights and sounds. Socialization starts right from the beginning just as you're doing. Keep up the good work.

That's why i loved to go hiking and bushcraft camping with my dogs. I use simple lavvu canvas tent and it have to be like serious below freezing temperature to use external heating like bonefire outside or stove inside. Most of the time with good sleeping bag i had to put additional heat source only in winter season. The downside is that after one night you smell like dog. Literally.

I've noticed - if people end up with more than one dog (cat, horse, whatever) the very first one is the one you learn the most with. What they like, what they don't. Training schedule, food favorites, treats / no treats. After all is said and done, just a matter of applying it to #2 and beyond. As usual - WAY TO GO BRUCE WAYNE,AND YOUR DOING GOOD JOEY JUSTICE! ❤

I like what you are doing with these dogs. We have them where I live, slightly smaller than what you have. New breed, which you are definitely a pert of making happen. There is a Cane Corso/Basset Hound pup I am looking at. It seems like it would be a great mix, but I kind of want a pure Cone Corso. Nothing wrong with accident dogs, but I have done my part with mixes. Forty two, a half a dozen dogs, never a pure breed. I am a sucker for the unadoptable.

Beautiful animals, no doubt about it! I've raised Canadian Eskimo/Timber Wolf crosses for years. The only dogs we have on the farm. I don't know if kids are in your future but training your lovely beasts along with raising your children can make you fall into bed 9 seconds after you've got the kids to sleep!!
