I used to let my Griffon lick the last of my ice cream out of the bowl. He'd carry the bowl back to the kitchen to receive another treat. He'd carry empty desert plates, soda bottles and anything else to wherever you would want them. Always working for a treat. He had a very, "Soft Mouth", and never damaged a single game bird when hunting. RIP Magoo.

Awwwww chocolate labs really are the best. My chocolate lab Lacy is 2 years old now. Chocolate labs are more quirky than yellow and black labs in my opinion. What a precious boy!

My black lab recognizes the Starbucks colors and logo, so he goes crazy if we drive by one or if he sees me with a cup from there. I had to stop using a green , ceramic Starbucks mug at home because it made him nuts.

My brown lab used to sit in the front seat in my lap even as an adult, and my dad would take us all to Dunkin Donuts where the workers all knew both my chocolate and our yellow. The chocolate looked a bit like Woody (half English half American lab)
