We brought our 3rd golden friend home 4 years ago. Each one has been totally unique ........in a good way. They work their way into your heart so quickly. They all shed like mad, but we gladly put up with the hair . I can't imagine my life without a golden .

A good thing to do when getting a new pup is take a few old T-shirt’s (smaller blankets or even smaller towels) and get the moms scent on them. We did this with our 8 week old chocolate lab and the first night she was exhausted and slept, the second night was rough but the third night and 2.5 years later no issues. But she did really cuddle into those T-shirt’s with her moms scent. Luckily she’s never had a crate accident so we didn’t have to wash them but we removed them because she was adapting fine. The other thing are those heartbeat plushy pups. I got a few in solid dark brown. To this day she takes care of her pups. She cleans them. She carries them by their nape of their necks and she gets them settled in with her blanket and her every night. 🥰
