I like all 3. I make whatever the mood strikes me that day. But just know, arepas use a special corn flour. It's different than regular masa harina. P.A.N. is the brand available to me for those.

They are all indigenous food, that is why they are similar, I would add Native American fry bread as part of that family..., tamales are also indigenous food

They arent, they are mestizo food since they use ingredients from the americas and from Europe such as cheese and pork and beef
