ドイツレベルのキットに挑戦してみました。 タミヤほどの精密感は出ないですが、部品の合いやクリアパーツの透明度もそこまで悪くはなく、一部気を付ければ初心者でもちゃんと仕上げることが可能です。 日本メーカーにない車種のラインナップもありますし、意外と面白いですよ。 ぜひ皆さんチャレンジしてみてください。

I made a movie to show how the car models are built. In Japanese language, I found a lot of modeling technick and how to use materials on internet, but I thought there are not many in other languages. There are some forums, but it doesn’t show whole process of it. I hope that this movie helps some people who wants to know the way of modeling.
If I tell you the impression of this kit, simply "not so bad".
The fitting of parts and transparency of clear parts are not so bad, not like 20 years ago Revell kits. Precision of parts, like sharpness of edges, flatness of plastics are not comparable to TAMIYA, but they release different type of cars especially European, very interesting range of products are there.

Hi, i have a question. When you do the process of compound polish and clear coat, after clear coat do you sandpaper the sourface and then repite the process of compound and clear? Or just sandpaper at first and then compound and clear 3 times?

I repeat the process of sandpaper --> polish compound --> lacquer coating 2 or 3 times. After the sand paper, the small scratches are still on the surface. If you coat lacquer on it, this scratches are still visible. When the lacquer is drying out, it shrinks a lot and it cannot fill up the scratches. So that I need compound to make the surface flatter. In a simple word, the under surface texture appears on the top. Plastic, primer, paint, clear, all the same thing. Best surface starting under layer makes top surface better and better.

コメントありがとうございます。 ヒケなんかも放置したり、それなりに手抜き制作してますよ～ 最近のドイツレベルモデル、思ったより良かったです。もちろんタミヤに比べると手がかかりますが、私はこのキット嫌いではないです。 またドイツレベルにいずれ挑戦しようと思います。

タミヤ、フジミ、レベル、精密さで順位を付けたらどんなですか？

精密さはもちろんタミヤが群を抜いています。 フジミは部品点数が少なく作りが大雑把ですが、金型の精度はまぁまぁではないでしょうか。 レベルは細かいところまで別パーツで再現されていたり、精密さはありますが、金型の精度はあまり高くなく、例えば角がびしっと出ていないとか、模型を大きく見せようというこだわりは足りないかもしれません。 でも、レベルの模型はその分肩の力を抜いて作れる気がして、嫌いではないです。 私もたくさんプラモを作り比べたわけではないので、ご参考までに。

コメントありがとうございます。 私は大して技術はないですよ！ 車のプラモはスプレー缶塗装でもかまわないので研ぎ出しだけできるようになれば、かなりきれいに仕上げられると思います。 あとは、写真でごまかし・・・ お互いがんばりましょう！
