One disheartening fact is both the practitioners and discerning rasikas of Haridasa compositions don't remember and acknowledge the contribution of Dr.BMK garu in reviving and popularizing while they offer praise only to Dr.MLV, Dr.MSS. BMKgaru made them pandita-pamara ranjakam.

In Dasa koota parampara-karna parampara the tradition is to set to tune the composition not in Karnataka parampara; raga has to be sampoorna raga only as compositions are keertanas-Hari-Vaayu-Guru Stuti, who are completely auspicious qualities. Exceptions are of moral principles message. Dr.BMK had acknowledged my father and guru Sri Sandhyavandanam Srinivasa Rao as his guru for 'devotional classical music. He not only learnt many compositions but also setting them to tune. Both of them had visited Bellary, Hampi, Chippagiri and Raichur collecting karna parampara compositions from Hari dasas living in those places for AIR-Bejawada. This recording brought the past to the present to me.
