I found the Golden Gromit Mug by complete chance when it appeared in my recommended shopping on KZbin. The listing was that American site you’re referring to, which seems to be the only place it’s being sold for pre-order. Definitely odd for it to release in America before Britain. And you’re right about it not being released yet, so a video on it when it does get released would be cool.

Had to check our mug drawer - turns out my brother got one of the PG Tips mugs but he ordered it through a kids magazine of some sort?? (We live in New Zealand). I dont think we clocked it wasnt dishwasher safe so he doesn't have pupils anymore, and I think my other brother painted over the nose (upset it turned red, you see, it was the wrong colour). He also won a far more normal-looking Curse of the Were-Rabbit mug for winning a colouring competition. Came with a hat and the 3 Cracking Adventures DVD set, apparently! Absolutely fascinating about the left handed mugs.

I used to have one, I bought it from a car boot sale. I bought it for 20p! I don't know what happened to it, but its nose turned red when you put hot water in it. It was definitely a PG Tips mug. This was an unexpected follow-up to an unexpected video for me. I'd never heard of the memes before the first video, and only knew of the PG Tips mug, which I never got. The pale one to me looks like the shades of white and brown Gromit was in The Wrong Trousers and A Close Shave, while the rest are the colours used in everything made from Were-Rabbit onwards. The PG one is the one I think of with Gromit Mug. Thinking of rare items I have or had, there is the salt and pepper shakers of Wallace and Wendolene picking up the wool balls, which I don't know if I still have, and an unused bar of soap, still in the clear plastic wrapper, shaped like the rocket. Seeing the Mark I-L in the box with the polystyrene also reminds me of the rare ceramic model we have of Gaffer from Tetley Tea. Not sure how many of those were made, or how we got that, it was so long ago.
