I do however have a question regarding the rooms and resident halls like: 1. Do they provide any other materials for their students for their rooms besides desks, beds, and chairs?

Alyssa Hudgins they lofted my bed a lot higher this year, so climbing down does seem a little treacherous early in the morning BUT everybody just climbs down their desks. It’s enough room to sleep but not quite enough to sit up and relax

Hi there! I'm not sure what the difficulty is, as I'm majoring in pre-pharmacy, but I'd say that if you're a well-rounded student and passionate about engineering, you could do it!

The engineering and computer science is a very competitive major to get into at Purdue

Congratulations on your acceptance!!! When struggling to decide, many people like to visit schools to find out which one they feel most comfortable and happy at. If that still does not help, I would write a pro/con list for each school. Listen to your heart :)

In Harrison, we had a dish washing room on each floor. But there is also a kitchen with a sink in the basement!

I am majoring in pre-pharmacy, & you do not purposely get matched with people within your major unless you choose to or it happens by chance. Thanks for watching :)

It’s been about 6 years since I lived in this room so apologies for my clouded memory BUT Im pretty sure she was able to raise her bed enough to fit storage containers under there. I definitely brought more crap to school than my roommate did so she didnt have any issues finding room for her things. But technically only 1 roommate needs to bring a futon, microwave & fridge as long as the roomies don’t mind sharing!

There’s a company called Bedloft that comes in & does it over the summer, but you have to pay extra for the lofted bed

Athens Drive Solar Panel Initiative Rooms in Owen or Wiley are the bed area is the same but the dorm doesn’t have the closet door/storage space + mirror shown in this video. It’s just an open closet and they provide you with a dresser.

Yup :) Though this standard double (at Harrison) feels a lot more spacious than a standard double at Windsor. I feel like having the mirror area at Harrison was super nice. Closet was bigger at Harrison too. At Windsor they give a dresser in addition to the closet, which is nice but takes up lots of space

Can you tell me your SAT score?

I do not recall because I cared more about the ACT & only took the SAT once very early on. But I do know that Purdue has posted their ideal/average scores for both standardized tests :) I wouldn't freak out too much over a score though, as Purdue looks for well-rounded students through your essays and extracurriculars

I hope that you get in too! The average GPA that Purdue students had in HS is a 3.72. Good grades are important but they also care about your extracurricular activities. Leadership roles & clubs look real good on applications! And make sure someone looks over your essay :)
