I’m a Badger fan and those last two shots that were inadvertent banks shots were so lucky. But you have to give the Badger players credit (Johnny Davis, Chucky, and Wahl) as they have worked so hard and improved a ton throughout the year when no one expected anything from Wi. Purdue is damn good and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them in the final four.

Its been two years. As an Illini fan, I'll forever remember this game. We had 5 losses, Wiscy had 4, and PU had 5 going into this one. I was rooting for PU so hard. The BIG title is a big deal for me and when PU lost, it was the most depressing part of the season and it had nothing to do with my team. The BIG title hopes seemed all but over. Little did I or anyone know that Nebraska (who was horrific that year) would go in there and knock 'em off like that on the final day of the season.

Sadly it was all downhill after this as Wisconsin had to share the conference title with Illinois after failing to beat Nebraska in the regular season finale and then couldn't even reach the 2nd weekend of the 2022 tournament despite getting to play the 1st weekend in their home state.

@@Icatt.926 because I didn’t parlay all the picks together, I’m not like high roller but I usually get $15-20 on a game, so I bet $15 on each one of my picks last night, and typically people will make sure to “tie the knot” by also throwing a few bucks at the parlay. A parlay is where you need every pick to win for you to win the bet. It’s typically a low risk, high reward type thing. For example, on Saturday I bet on 8 games, and I went 4-4 for those games. But when I placed my bets on Saturday, I also chose to parlay all my picks together so if I would’ve went 8-0, my $5 parlay bet would’ve won like $800 or some shit. Last night, when I placed my 10 bets, I chose to pass on parlaying all the picks together. So yes, I won my single game bets. But since I failed to also bet the parlay, I missed out on winning like $1500 bucks. Instead, I won like $130.

And to be even more clear, I usually only bet 2 days a week with college bball, one weekday and saturdays. I usually select like 8-12 games to study, just the games that intrigue me the most. For 10 years, I’ve been doing this essentially. 98% if the time, I “tie the knot” and bet the parlay on my picks JUST IN CASE I do have a crazy day and go 10-0, 9-0, whatever. Not even Sharps/pros have undefeated days, but I’ve always figured I’d rather be safe than sorry, throw a few backs at the parlay just to be safe. For whatever reason, last night I decided to say fuck the parlay, Im not gonna go 10-0 so why bother throwing $5-$10 bucks on a 10 team parlay. And of courSe the ONE time I decide to not tie the knot on my picks, I have an undefeated day. Im a very average sports bettor, my winning percentage is probably around 53-54%….most days I’ll go like 4-3 or 5-4….but anyone who bets on sports can tell you the story of their “greatest day” in vivid detail. I just had my greatest day I’ll ever have betting on sports and instead of winning $1600, I netted about $130. That’s why I hate my life lol

You can blame a few shots on luck but at the end of the day, there are 70-80 points to be scored for each team and it will almost always boil down to who plays better.
