Fun fact, there was one person on the flying machine that actually recorded the whole thing, in the end everybody fell off and died because of how glitchy the machine was, except for him, he managed to get all the way to the border with the machine and then pretty much just played skyblock the whole rest of the event untill he got killed by the lightning at the end

6:37 "Instead of there being one united civilization, there were now two. This was not part of the plan" This makes me laugh, because he's sort of breaking the fourth wall. It literally wasn't part of his plan. He was quite vocal about wanting everyone to be in one civilization. He wanted it to be all the players against the island and the things he threw at us. But we just weren't having any of that. We wanted civilization. P.S. For anyone curious about my role in this event, I was in a small group at the lake by the middle tower called The Outcasts. I originally found myself in Solev's group, but I was extremely disheartened by how impossible it was to communicate with anyone. No one would answer my questions in chat, and it was basically just a few important people in their own private discord servers leaving everyone else with nothing but in-game text chat. So I joined a random public vc channel on Ish's discord server (at the time it was called Elanuelo's VC), and talked to some people there. We ended up banding together and formed The Outcasts. Feeling like outcasts because of how restricted the communication was in the main civilizations, we founded ourselves on complete openness. We shared food with anyone who needed it, welcomed anyone who wanted to join us, and stayed in the public VC that anyone could join. It was quite a nice little settlement, and most of us made it right up until the end when everyone was forced to kill each other. My character refused to fight anyone on principle, and that was that. P.P.S. The communication issues were much better in the 1000 player civilization video, at least from my experience. While it still wasn't perfect, it was much easier to find a place to talk to people. I think most of the issues I felt in this event were because it was only Ish's second civilization video, with both a smaller sample size and a more tight-knit community of active community members who all already knew each other and just didn't really give much opportunity for new people to speak.

The people never actually left Solev's nation. They just didn't join it to begin with. Ish likes to simplify the politics a lot for the sake of the main plot he's trying to tell. He frames it as nations forming and people branching off, when in reality there's usually a bunch of different groups from the outset, and a bunch that form during the event, all independent of one another.

Based on what I remember, this video's premise is that everyone was on a plane that crashed onto an Island and they need to survive till the way off the island appears. Also one guy ended up spawning in a tree for some reason. Sucks to be him. Anyway, despite how the Plains is where everyone start, factions forms in the other biomes. And some people in the jungle made a flying machine to get off the island and are just never seen again due to falling off the edge of the map.

You know if I wanted to cause trouble to everyone than on day 1 I with my friends will hide two cows in a bunker and hunt down every other cow on the island because quite often there is hunger events in such civilisation videos. I will sell milk either for various things such as diamonds or I will make them fight their teammates to death to cause internal conflict among them. It will be interesting to see who will betray who, who will stay loyal to whom and by the end of all of it almost every civilisation would become unstable due to how quickly they decided to betray each other for survival. It’s amazing what kind of potential a milk bucket has in such events.
