Youll notice charges were DROPPED, its because they never had a case. Escape charge is bs if its false imprisonment to begin with, just because theyre acting like kids and antagonizing cops gave them 0 right to do that there, the only one that would have ever stood in a million years is the dude who opened the door, and the fact you can watch this video and see that these kids deserve to have their life ruined ESPECIALLY with that prick cop who had the audacity to blame the mother at the end makes me sick. The cops who charged him with felony escape are idiots. No DA would prosecute that after watching the video. The kid didn't open the door, he didn't kick out the window, and he didn't ask for anyone to help him. It's natural human instinct to escape imprisonment, and it was the cop's fault for allowing him to escape, and the other kid's fault for opening the door. Running through an open door is not illegal. As for why the first charge was dropped, I'm guessing he was a first time offender and after having been jailed after arrest the judge probably figured any prison sentence would just amount to time already served.

At least he wasn't roughed up. I never in my life see a cop give someone a break in videos like this. Like it's seriously not hard to contextualize the behavior of drunk teens on spring break. Just re-arrest him for the same charges and let it go with no extra charges for 'escaping'. It's so fucked up man that they're so happy to not only stack more charges but gloat to him that he fucked up and is now going to prison. He's 18 making the most of his young years and you wanna lock him up for fleeing handcuffed and barefoot, as if he has any chance of getting away or doing any harm. Dude probably didn't even have a record before this. Unreal. 18:03 Based judge. I'm happy for him that he got no charges at all.

lol this is what to expect when you don't respect the community. the officers have lost every age demographic. they beat up boomers old ladies trying to save cats. they beat up autistic teens. they murder innocent people for reaching to unbuckle a seatbelt claiming they feared for their lives. they have a brand new video every day of them violently ganging up on people who are surrendering giving high fives and smiles. i could become a cop tomorrow just to find you because i think you are stupid and i want to toy with you. why do you guys always boot lick for the cops like they don't deserve to be given a hard time and a little jog for the money we pay them. they are tanking this economy with the big businesses too. they get so many lawsuits me and you get to pay for. they get civil asset forfeitures from whoever they want and don't have to give it back. most people who boot lick have never even had enough money for the police to call it suspicious to carry that much and confiscate it putting the burden on you to tell them it's legit. then when you show them it's legit they already instantly handed it to the fbi. the fbi has absolutely no obligations to pay you back and therefore they won in stealing. the police dept. who sends it to the fbi gets a cut, the fbi stone walls you and then they both win. welcome to reality slave its good to see another educated person on the streets. don't talk to pigs don't talk to your lawyer. shut the fuck up invoke your first 4th and 5th amendment rights and stay safe out there.

@@PA_Transparency Two things - The person who opened the door for the detained individual had the responsibility to not do so; the detained individual knew their responsibility to stay within the vehicle and willfully ignored officers' orders, escaping a lawful arrest. One correction - There were purportedly people trying to overturn the officers' beach kart thingy; I do believe that qualifies this as a (minor) riot.
@PA_Transparency

@@christopherkarr1872 sounds like we're merely trying everything possible to place all the responsibilities on the drunk teenagers fighting on the beach during spring break while overlooking the fact that trained police officers ignored policies and procedures specifically designed to protect both the public and the person in their custody. What if that teen ran out and jumped into the ocean thinking he could swim with his hands cuffed? Who would be at fault in the civil suit??? The dead teenager? The teenager who opened the door? Or the grown adult who was trained and certified to perform his duties as dictated by the rules set forth in their policies and procedures???
@christopherkarr1872
@christopherkarr1872 Жыл бұрын
@@PA_Transparency Valid critique. In your hypothetical situation, it would most certainly be the fault of the individual who incorrectly assumed they could swim with cuffs on. The moment they left police custody, they assumed liability for their own actions. I do, however, see the point that procedure should have been upheld and, beyond that, both fighting parties should have been arrested and held (separately) in the drunk tank, if necessary, Disorderly conduct citations ought have been levied, rather than assault-related charges. And, finally, the cops ought have received personality tests and aptitude tests to ensure they were intelligent and stable enough to be cops. I'll admit that the footage that showed the runner getting dragged through the sand had 'excessive force' written all over it.

I’m with you, I’m so very thankful for the way I was raised, though not popular it has helped. Growing up as a black kid I was homeschooled and raised in a God fearing home. My parents raised me to respect authority wither it’s a teacher, officer etc. They taught me accountability, to take responsibility for my actions, to treat people how I wanted to be treated, and to be a productive good standing citizen. I was the kid growing up who was called names but walked away because of how pointless it was and wasn’t worth the trouble. And only fought to defend myself if physical harm was imminent. Many parents laughed or made fun of the way I was raised. But I can say at the end of the day never did I embarrass my parents and they never got a call from a police officer or jail. Now I’m 36, I have a good job, a home owner, a husband and now a father. Like you I’m grateful and very thankful as I can truly see the benefits of why my parents where “Hard” on me growing up. It’s really a shame the times we are living in.
