That kind of synchro deck has one game plan against maxx "C", and that is to go into TG Librarian and hope to draw into Card Destruction and use it to get a deck out victory after baiting Ash.

I actually recently had a duel similar to the first one in that i played maxx c and got like 30 cards the difference was i never actually got to play because on turn 1 my opponent literally drew his entire deck and burned me to death before I could even take my turn (funnily enough i was also using an Egyptian god deck at the time)

Have you considered playing time-(rendering sounds way cooler)tearing morganite? The only card in this deck that it would really interfere with is the icejade monster ad it would let you two card combo with any god card and reactor slime.

I am guessing that this is not a meta deck that stands a great chance at winning tournaments, but Atem shows here that he can defeat all the popular, competitive meta decks with his skill. Use a deck that you think it's fun I guess, I use a Toon deck, it's not a meta deck but I like it.

@QDpenguin I feel you on that I built a deck that can get a potential OTKO but the problem is it can brick a lot I am trying to turbo out the Egyptian GOD’s more often this video helped because Egyptian GOD slime is the card I have a problem getting out the most I can wipe the board clean but get a K.O? Hard to do when my opponent uses hand traps I’m trying to play around that so I may follow this strategy using icejade and see how far I get with it

I play the God cards ALOT, personally I like using knights and guardian slime. I find it adds a huge level of consistency.

Some Kash players are dumb. They don’t realize they can out a non targetable monster with Kashtira Scareclaw and Fenrir. Attack Obelisk with Fenrir, Scareclaw negates Obelisk making him targetable to be banished by Fenrir!

Scareclaw is a non-targeting continuous effect that activates immediately upon declaration of a battle involving a Kashtira or Scareclaw monster without starting a chain and before any effect that does start a chain can be activated. If you just have Obelisk and no other protection, then Scareclaw will activate first and negate Obelisk allowing him to be targeted as soon as you declare an attack with Fenrir. Then, since Fenrir declared an attack, you can banish Obelisk without missing the timing. Obviously this won't work if you have Mound of the Bound Creator on the field since it also gives Obelisk targeting protection and you'd have to negate it too.

@@atem7 Rare misplay by you. I'm disappointed. Kashtira Scareclaw negates the monster a Kashtira attacks. Fenrir attacks Obelisk, Scareclaw's effect AUTO triggers, its mandatory, thus negating Obelisk. Allowing Fenrir to target Obelisk. In one of your replays you had ONLY Obelisk. You didn't have the field spell for added protection. Which would allow Scareclaw/Fenrir combo to happen. Also, I play an Obelisk deck so I have run into this first hand. I had a smart Kash player out Obelisk that wasn't SP summoned with Ruin God and no field protection with Scareclaw+Fenrir. But most Kash players I run into aren't aware they can out my Obelisk with scareclaw.

@@AlexandrosAtassi I think if you want to play Buster Blader competitively, you should mix it with Dragunity and/or dragon link. Mixing with Gaia and Red-Eyes can be fun but you will lose a lot unfortunately unless Dragoon gets unbanned.
