Don't worry, even the official platform streaming got that issue, just remember ijime isn't Ljime 🙅‍♂️ And this is the song you have been waiting for to dance like there's no tomorrow.🕺 Always love that reaction to the unexpected brutal breakdown. This is another song from early era just to have fun and party. Technically is their their 3rd song chronologically but it came out as the 2nd single. Totally blending DDR style song with the Para Para and Hi-NRG rhythm. The chemistry between Moa and Yui (Moi Moi) will never be the same in any other duo, but the new member adds her own charming too and you will see her performing this in the new version recently at PIA Arena MM as well in the Asian and Australian Tour, they brought back this hit after 2017 when YuiMetal left the group, almost 6 years without it, NLMetal got that clip without watermarked logo so apparently is safe to react, but live at Budokan 2014 with the original trio is another safe choice. This is their second song after "Doki Doki Morning" according to official releases (March 2012), although "IDZ" was premiered live before (July 2011). It's actually a silly childish song. So... do you think they still perform it live? No? Wrong! Just like us, they are crazy enough to have brought this song back to their setlist in 2023. Hahaha, that has to be one of your best reactions - and you even fell into the 'Line' trap.😁 It is iine (pronounced ee-neh ... so now you can sing along as well as dancing along). 'Iine' means 'so good' like a thumbs up emoji👍 it was only the second song they released, so 2011 I think (it was their third song but IDZ was released later) and they were clearly establishing very early on that all the usual rules of what you can do, what genres you can mix into one song and so on were not going to apply to BABYMETAL. So EDM, a bit of hip hop/rap and then that drop into death metal - quite possibly the best drop into death metal from hip hop ever - and then back to the EDM to finish. As the song title suggests - it is so good.👍 In most live versions they dropped the rap and it became a call and response (they kept it in some live performances of course - "BABYMETAL in da house!") ... but that drop is still there. They did warn you - "Yo yo yo yo. Microphone check, one two one two. Are you ready to mosh? Kitsune da o!" The growls - no it wasn't them, they had you guessing for a second there🤣 (and no that was not Su doing the scream either) - in this instance the growling vocals in the death metal part are explaining the hand sign is not the traditional metal devil horns or maloik, it is the kitsune (fox🦊). They have been performing this live again in recent concerts - definitely worth finding, but for a very early live performance (and they keep the rap part in) I really hope you will react to this - do a quick search for 'BABYMETAL - Iine! - Sakura Gakuin Graduation Departures 2011' - that one is from March 2012 ... "BABYMETAL in da house!"

This is a pretty cool song when you think about, a real genre mashup. And it shows just how young they were, Su might have been 14 and Moa and Yui might have been 12. But they really acted like hardened veterans. And I remember reading that when the project was first posed to them they knew nothing about rap or metal. It's amazing what natural talent, hard work and a real determination to succeed can do for you. I remember reading that this video was filmed at a metal club owned by Amuse, the group that was producing them. Someone correct me if I am wrong about that. As I said below, Andy Rethmeier has a number of 2012 live concert videos on his channel that are really pretty cool.

Lol! You fell for the old "Line" mistake. It's actually "iine!" (two i's) いいね！. It means "So good" or "like" (like a 👍). Don't worry though, it's such a common mistake that it's a meme among Babymetal fans. We just get a chuckle out of it. Until Clear Night on April 2nd, this song hadn't been played live since 2017 (prior to Yui's last performance), so most people had kind of assumed that it had been retired. When it began at Clear Night, we couldn't believe what we were hearing and everyone absolutely lost their shit, and it was amazing. Since then, they have played it at all the shows on the Asia and Australia leg of the world tour as well, so I got to see it three more times in Australia!

Hi Emp, so live is good, but in my opinion, the mv for this song is slightly better. My reasoning is this. In the live they take out the hiphop part and instead Su goes to the audience says hello to the crowd, gets them to sing along for a couple lines and then the heavy part hits. While the crowd interaction is cool, I miss the hiphop part, which is weird as I don't even like hiphop lol The only other thing I'd say is I kinda wish you were watching the video more because you kept missing the parts where Yui and Moa were dressed like little cute vampires almost. Thats the best I can describe it and they are super adorable when they were dressed like that, but you missed it EVERY TIME lol You were always dancing and had your eyes closed, or looking away in the opposite direction as your screen lol Anyhow, hopefully you watch this video again and can enjoy just how adorable these 2 little cuties are. I think they played a large part, especially in the early years , as to why Babymetal made it big, just because of their little antics like this.
