I'm a rider for 38 yrs and I'm 56yrs old,240lbs and I can tell you I bought a 2014 vulcan classic 900 and the looks and sound is well worth every cent I got it for,,complements all the time on the sound and looks,all together great cruiser, no issue's at all including plenty of highway power even with 2 up,,anyone that wants to ride and get the same styling and sound as the HD for a fraction of the price this definitely is a great buy.

What a nice bike ! Engine sounds so well, so smooth ! Even engine running so well, feel like anytime need speed and power always getting ready ! Just need push a little gasoline ! Feel the torque like really strong, But smoothly ! Most on the highway even don't feel the engine vibration and suspension real good and stable ! ( Almost big v-twin # ohv v-twin do have this problem ! ) Beside, I do like to night ride ! In the night ridding on the street crossing city and town Watching the city light, neon light and feel the night ! Thanks share this video !

at 54000 km what maintenance have you done? have the valves been adjusted?

Valve clearance was done at around 30k by the previous owner. Other than the tyre change, I only did the basics. Engine oil at every 5k km intervals. I flushed and change all oils, fluid, coolant when I got the bike at 42k.

Nice video. I also have a vn900 with a Miller exhaust from the previous owner. It sort of makes "pop pop pop" noises when I stop accelerating, which sounds like a gun. Do you think its normal?

My VN900 has that decel pop on 1st gear only tho My opinion I don't think it is supposed to pop. Believe the whole air fuel spark settings from the computer doesn't match with the aftermarket exhaust and aircleaner. But it sure does sound cool especially stopping at the Traffic light. Does yours pop on every gear?

@@Pa3cilfe yeah I guess so. They say it's advisable it add a tuner when the exhaust and intake has been upgraded because air fuel ratio of the bike was tuned with standard parts. Mine has a different map from a power commander 5 I think. The previous owner did that. Doesn't decel pop on every gear except for 1st

thanks man. glad you like it. this is a 16 inch apes, no clue what brand, previous owner did it but it fits me well. as long as your arm is parallel with your should, hands at shoulder with apart you're good to go. you might need to change the lines and cables

have you replaced the front and rear pulleys ! then you can fit a 200 tire on the stock rim ! 5 mph faster the the speedo say lower cruise rpms !

Yeah Ive read about the baron pulleys. I don't think I'll be getting those anytime soon, I ve just replaced the pulleys and belt because the old ones were prematurely worn and made that very annoying squeaking sound. And it costs a bomb.
