Great question! Firstly it is 'bass'. Don't confuse it with base. Secondly,deep bass is that rumbling sensation when the bass hits the sub low frequencies at times. And tight response means the bass is not muddy/distorted.

A highly under rated product. The CCA PLA13 at around Rs. 4,000 INR is absolute bang for the back. I am not sure what's the basis for the so called "expert reviewers" being harsh about these IEMs? There seems to be unbridled snobbery unleashed & directed against the PLA13.

Both are great. PLA13 sounds more balanced while the EW200 is more fun. You need a DAC for both.

If you're thinking about getting the pla13... don't, nowadays in the budget planar space do not get the pla13 as vocals are very recessed and the bass is bloated, get the pr2 instead which some newer variants may be quite bright, is at least good in the traditional sense

Hi bro love your analysis , I have a question , I have salnotes zero and i pair it with cs pro dac with cirrus logic cs46l41 chip which im using for a while . I want to upgrade the sound quality now , should I buy a new iem first or instead buy a good dac first and then buy a decent planar iem later ? Please help . Personally,I am not a big fan of Salnotes Zero. My current favourites are : Oriveti OD200 Simgot EM6L Simgot EW200 Truthear NOVA Checkout my review of these and pair it with the DAC you have.
