the lower power on battery is pretty common in jbl speakers, without it we would probably be seeing around 4-6 hours of playtime compared to around 8-10 hours that it has

I wish I had seen this earlier. I bought the JBL 110 PBox and used it for my gig at a terrace party. It was very underwhelming for an open space. To add insult to injury, I did the whole 2 hour gig on internal battery, which I just learnt, is the reason I didn't feel the 160w come through. But great accurate review. I should also try and check if switching off the led leads to more audio output.

ive watched a dozen or more reviews on this JBL 110. yours is by far the best. all the details you cover is exactly what I need to know. I have been using JBL smart speakers in the house and I have to say using bluetooth is really a step down. no voice command, no smart speaker. I really miss those features. but the portability is the reason why its blue tooth . As to why no remote control, baffling to me. I am a big fan of JBL. they have a sound that my ears like. Bass boost one is great for surrounding bass feel and is great at higher volumes. Level two is more punchy and in your face< performs better at lower volume due to its distortion in vocals. It does depend on the music you listen to. but if you want your speaker to last longer keep it on level one.

The speaker, as I see has one Microphone and one Guitar Input. I need to attach 2 Mics. official JBL page says I can only do it if I use wireless mic or an external sound interface which can mix two mics. Now, I have an external Sound Interface which has One Mic and one Guitar Input. Can I use that and plug into the Guitar Jack of the Speaker, and use second mic on Microphone Jack of the Speaker?
