First of all, lets be clear, these are both "noise complaint" level of speakers 🔥 I was picking between the two but had to be realistic about where I could possibly ever use the bigger partybox speakers. I would gladly invest any amount into a quality speaker to enhance the party vibes, but the important thing for me was being able to take it to people's parties, and have it in my motorhome. I went for the BB3 about two weeks ago, because of the portability really. Even having this on 70-80% volume leaves my ears ringing a bit after a session. If you do crank it up to the top it... well I don't know the technical terms, but its not distortion like I would expect from cranking a stock car stereo up but it felt slightly stretched, like a lower bitrate mp3 or something, not on the bass, thats booming, but the high end. Maybe its not distortion, maybe its just uncomfortably loud haha. Amazing purchase, and everyone that has heard it has been blown away.

Turn down the treble some. Yes, the sound quality falls off hard at the top 20% volume, you aren’t imagining it. It’s mostly the high end gets distorted when it’s very clear at lower volumes. I’m going to but a second so I can pair them together for my yard.

partybox is clouded in a nice zoomy way. boombox is clear and less cloudy, more open sound. however i like the cloudy sound and plus the looks of the partbox is just too good. Partybox all the way.

I am a professional music producer and a hardcore audiophile. Trust me, I've tested both. PartyBox 110 is much louder, bass heavier than the Boombox 3. Also, the PartyBox 110 has 360 degrees of loudness and bass, which the Boombox 3 doesn't.

Boombox 3 in my opinion have more refined sound overall. Longer battery life and stronger built. Partybox 110 is louder more bassy sound. Fun to play music with lights and karaoke features.. just weight in which one u really need👍

boombox 3 has bass radiators on the sides, so it removes the bass and more dynamic sound is felt and relatively less bass because it is not directed directly like the pb-110. I choose the BOOMBOX 3 because it has a great sound, it's nice and doesn't bother the ears, it's more flexible than the PB110. Boombox 3 has a working time of 24 hours, while pb110 has a working time of 6.5 hours. bbx3 is water resistant dustproof and is convenient.

@@patrykkrekora3786 hell yes, but if you use it with a bass-boosting Equalizer you will notice a significant bass drop at volumes higher than 80%. If you don't equalize it, you won't have that much of a bass-drop. But to be honest, even 80% is way to loud for most environments, except you have a party in a very large room.

@@patrykkrekora3786 I wouldn't care to much about the battery, the pb110 has 12 hours, bbx3 24h, and with those 24h on my bbx3 i easily can use for 3 days straight before charging. (And you can always boost the pb110s batterylife by turning off the lights). The partybox has a better sound tough and some cool lights, but with that comes some extra weight and size. For me the pb110 is just to big, as I want to take my speaker with me everywhere when I go outside. But if you primary want it to use indoors or around your house i would definitely go with the pb110.

Lets not forget the price difference..ive heard both in best buy on display and the boombox sound quality is a bit better but the 110 sounds amazing as well..but the 110 you can get for 249 on sale where bb3 is 349 on sale..so you are paying for the xtra crisp sound...both sound great tho...im upgrading from the flip 6 so either is a win...but for the price and the light show i bought the 110

Bb3 8s so versatile and cleary the winner for poratbility but, if you are looking a speaker for guitar and karaoke, it will be the PB110. Both has their own advantages.

Well JBL Partybox 110 doesnät have any mid speakers, it only has Woofers and Tweeters. JBL Boombox 3 has Woofer, mid speakers and tweeters, which is why it produces music way clearer than Partybox 110

You can get 2 x PB110 for £500 (250 each) vs £400 for a BB3 as the 110s are now end of life. 120s are the replacement. That gives you option for Stereo or Party mode (mono but in different areas with light sync). or with the aux through - you could create a poor mans battery powered line array stack. ;) Get a proper mixer with 31 band EQ in the chain and you might make it sing without having to push the volume up. I've currently got a 2.2kW PA but it's a monster, the subs are 34kg each! No good for camping trips hence doing my research on these.
