Deathcore hasn't gotten boring. It seems like every deathcore band these days is just trying to outdo each other with ridiculously slow breakdowns and utterly unintelligible vocals. 2002-10 was the golden age, you had Doom by Job For A Cowboy, Count Your Blessings by BMTH, Unanswered by Suicide Silence, Infinite Death by Thy Art, etc.

a lot of the "og" deathcore have definitely gotten worse over the years, but there are so many sick new bands aswell, like make them suffer, angelmaker, a night in texas, enterprise earth, rings of saturn...you just gotta search for these gems
