Just by the monastery beach is a restaurant that serves brudet , a local fish stew , its fish that has been caught the day before , it really doesn’t , get any better

Just a small correction, Vidova gora (778 meters high) is the highest peak on the island of Brač, and the highest island mountain peak on the entire Adriatic, but not the highest peak of Dalmatia 😉. That would be Dinara peak, 1831 m.

I was in Bol 52 years ago, now there are lots of people. Next year I hope to take my wife after 50 years of marrage, as it is the place I decide that I wanted to her share my life with her.

That's so nice! I hope you and your wife have an amazing trip. Will it be her first time there? We were there in early July and while there were people enjoying the town and beaches, it was much less crowded than other nearby spots like Hvar & Split. When are you hoping to go next year?

Yes it will be wifes first time. Susan has seen the Golden Horn from the air, on our way to Greece many a time. I think Susan got fed up with me pointing it out, after the fourth time.

It's a shame. We got such limited time there due to our ferry cancellations. i'd love to go back one day to see more of it.
