I am so moved with the last song in this video... I knew this song from years back watching The Voice Ukraine, never knew what it meant until 3 years ago... 100 lost souls inspired this powerful song, imagine a nation so passionate about their own, and now imagine how they feel today in 2022?... Good luck Mr Putin! My heart truly bleeds for this passionate nation. Never has music brought so much modern passion like the folk music from Ukraine today. Mr Putin, you have no chance in breaking the spirit of these people, just give up, you are done, finished! All my heart goes to Ukraine, never give up! Jaco, South Africa.

@@RG-jr8ym So what you are saying, is that because a bunch of narcissistic politicians is throwing a tantrum, it is OK to commit genocide and mass murder? Show me one other species on Earth that does that, just one... actually, there is one other life form that is capable of genocide, a virus, but it does so simply as a survival mechanism. Humans are far worse. Humans on the other hand wage war over almost anything, destroy the only planet capable of life we know of, and for what? Land, money, power, ego, religious beliefs? Again, show me one other life form that does this... You are right, Russia itself is not the problem, it's leaders are for sure the problem, together with most other politicians across the world.

So beautiful, touches my eyes to bring tears, my heart to bring ache. Ukraine forever 🇺🇦.Everyday I think of these judges as I pray for Ukraine. Where are they? Are their families ok? Did they escape? All the beauty of the Voice, the stage, all the love of the art is a hollow ghostly shell. No matter whether that area is touched or not, life and art will never be the same. But HOPE, they have!!

One male judge 17:27 had joined the military but since he is not a pro soldier but a very famous and loved artist in Ukraine he is giving concerts here in subways etc and supports Ukrainians mentally, he visits hospitals and other places; 3 males are not in Ukraine (were not in the country when the war began and two of them have 3 children 20:19 ) but write songs and poetry about the war, doing charity concerts 21:56 and keep informing people about what is happening 35:57 ; i don't know where is he right now, but he also supports Ukraine 37:34 ; all female had escaped and now doing charity concerts to help their motherland; and unfortunately two of showed here judges 33:39 and 34:23 live and work in Russia now (since 2014); and one of the judges is not Ukrainian 6:20 , but supports Ukraine since the beginning. And I have no idea who she is 33:40

I've been watching Ukraine Voice and Ukraine voice Kids since 2017 when I first heard Daneliya Tuleshova sing "Not Your War". It was a powerful performance that applies to current events. There have been so many powerful singing performances I've watched the past 5 years of the Voice. The shows always had great singers! I just hope and pray sometime soon the war will end with Ukraine victory and the Ukraine Voice continues again.

There is an important story about this song, in cause of which The Voice judges stood up, silently and sadly. In spring 2014 around of hundred Ukrainian protestants were killed by Yanukovich (putin-backed president of Ukraine, who run away after this crime) gunmen and next day these people were buried. Before funeral their bodies were carried through the one million crowd on Maydan Square on the hands and this song was sung this time by The Piccardian Tertsiya quartet ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/mXjadnWEZsl6fLM ). Since that time the song and the event are joined at people mind

One of thought I had when I returned to Ukraine June 30th of this year (2023) was where did the music go? The music was evident in L'viv near the Opera House, on the throughfare, with many street musicians in May of 2022, when I had visited. I think it was on the weekend mostly, and I did talk to one trombonist from a 5 member band. I did tip quite well because it was so, so important to hear music and for everyone to enjoy it as a community. Again, in July of 2023, L'viv had the street musicians. This time there was a larger choir of older men and women who sang traditional songs, including the Ukrainian National Anthem. I was so captivated by this choir that I cooled my rockets so as not to spoil it for everyone else. I tip heavily again. However, when I went to Kyiv in 2022, the few days I was there, I didn't run across any street musicians that I remember. When I returned in July of 2023, I was there for maybe a bit less than three weeks and one bar/restaurant had a band playing early sets on the weekends I was under the streets near the Maiden square next to the main post office where four musicians played their instruments and sang traditional songs. I presumed they were from a music school. I heard this wonderfully sounding music and I turned on my GoPro Camera and walked to where the music was coming from, recording as I became closer and closer. They came into view and the music became louder and it was thrilling to see these three young women and one young man playing and singing as they sat of the stairs leading out to the street. I stood behind the guitar case where people would toss money in until they had finished. I concluded the recording and gave a very nice tip. The recording is wonderful. I presume these recordings are pre 2022. When I was in Kramatorsk for 8 days, the taxi drivers would play music on their radios. One driver loudly played American rock music. Back in Kyiv, one restaurant with an American cowboy theme, including playing videos from Rodeos in America on a large screen. Western country music was played too. Live music was not too evident. When I left L'viv for Krakow, while on a cramped bus, I decided to play on my cell phone James Taylor's song, "You've got a friend." I started it and turned it in a number of directions so people could hear the guitar and Taylor's voice, then, i started to sing along with the music, softly so. The children smiled and brightened up. The adults on the bus wonderer who I was and what was I doing. Women started to smile. The man next to me with a stern face, seemed to become slightly less intense. When the next stop came, I told everyone that Ukraine had a friend, I told them I was their friend. I said a few other things and got off the bus. I shout to everyone as the bus was leaving, "Ukraine, you've got a friend." "Everything will be all right!" "Ukraine. you've got a friend in America!"

Tina is such a beautiful soul.. The way she hit her button at the end was just as amazing as the voice of this singer.. I do not understand the language but as I was listening to this singer and how she played her instrument, I was also reading the words on the screen about the reason and meaning of this song.. I cant imagine how very meaningful this audition was and still is today with the horror of the war going on right now today in Ukraine.. My deepest and sincerest condolences to everyone who has lost a loved one in and because of war..

Dear Ukrainians, greetings from your friends in Greece. We pray for you and we have been inspired by your brave hearts. You represent a spirit that we thought it was lost in our days. Glory to Ukraine!! Can somebody tell us the meaning of the last song that gave chills on my spine? The lyrics in English would be great. God bless you brave people. Keep moving forward!

This is how I understand it translates more or less: === Oh, duckling floats on Tisyna Duckling floats on Tisyna. My mother, don't swear me, My mother, don't swear me. Oh, if you will swear me at dark hour, If you will swear me at dark hour. I don't know where I'll die, I don't know where I'll die. Oh, I'll die on foreign lands I will die on foreign lands. Who will prepare a grave for me? Who will prepare a grave for me? Oh, another people will prepare, Strangers will prepare. Won't you regret, mother? Won't you regret, mother? Oh, my son, how could I not regret? My son, how could I not regret? You were laying on my heart, You were laying on my heart. Oh, duckling floats on Tisyna Duckling floats on Tisyna.

Ukrainian nation is a bolshevik invention. All ukrainians called themselves russians until the end of WWII. Ukraine is a geographical concept (it means "border (of Russia)"), it has nothing to do with a nation or a people
