This connected DashCam will allow you to check in on your vehicle from anywhere, and also alert you should it detect anything that triggers it to wake up. Not without faults, it does as advertised, I just don't think it is as polished of a product as it could be. Check out the product at the links above.

PureCam still seems better considering its a wifi hotspot too. Shocking how few 4G dash cams there are out here with screens.

Dashcams shouldn't bother having display at all. Make it smaller, focus on image/audio recording quality. The framerate on that interior cam appears to be complete crap.

Can't see where to line up cam. On, screen line up, set, screen fades to black in 30 seconds. My dash cams allowed to to turn off display...no want ppl see a cam in car.

Hello. Thank you for your useful review. Do you have any camera to suggest for security surveillance of the car with immediate notification on phone? I am outside US, so Owl camera wouldn't suit me. LTE/4G with SIM card (or e-SIM) is a must. Thank you.

Do you have to activate the sim card to get video to the cloud? Where is the cloud and who can see it?

The display SHOULD go dark. You don't need to watch the road through a screen LIKE MILLENNIALS WATCH THEIR LIVES UNFOLD. Set it & forget it. Should have small light pointed at DRIVER side to indicate on/recording. Red on, pulsing recording. Then a SAVE RECORDING button were it saves 5 min before and the rest of the SD card from then on. Why? Hit and ..... RUN!!! Maybe road rage attack. Once I hit the SAVE button, I want everything 5 min before to the moment cops arrive and then some. I kept multiple SD cards in my car. Switch out if accident - to make sure I don't roll over the footage. SD cards are cheap. Carry 3x32gigs. Easy

PureGear products are absolute shit, and their warranty is a joke. Save your hard earned money for a reputable company.
