Exdeath Emperor matchup is the Fighting Game equivalent to Yugioh Psy-Frames they don't interact AT ALL unless someone else does something and if you do try to it will just get Negated lol

When Emperor was camping behind Flare, couldn't Exdeath just used that HP attack that shoots forward? Furthermore, there were some opportunities for him to walk up to a mine and proc a counter.

He could but he doesnt have it equip. Maelstrom, GrandCross, and Almagest is his equipped Air HP Attack on this vid

When I see Dart playing ExDeath, I'm wondering : just how many hours did he spend to train him? Seeing all these cancel-dodge hp attacks + sky humping hp attacks really impress me Also that last match was exciting

Actually I was becoming an expert at using Exdeath. I even got all his move sets too. Eventually I kinda stopped thinking I will play him later and that never happened. But back then I became so good at this game (Not the 012 version. I had the other one) I think I played for some long time I guess. I got a huge amount of heroes to level 100. Heroes like Jetch seemed really broken and awesome.

Sometimes you run into that problem. When you only have 6 moves, you're bound to accidentally pick a bad set for the matchup you're doing every now and then

I don’t see so much of a problem with having only 6 moves though. Too many moves for a character to memorize at once and I’ll be too confused which one I can use, and I wouldn’t be able to use the character well. In fact, I hate characters with too many moves like Kefka. Quality over quantity and consistency I guess. My build usually involves bravery to Hp chain attacks only, since using HP attacks on their own are such a pain in the ass as they could be dodged easily. The rest of the CP could be used to improved the passive aspects of the characters such as faster air dash, faster movement speed, higher jump, so on

terrible exeath =/ idk why people are thinking this is good, that player isn't aggressive enough and he or she missed so many opportunities to attack because of the dodging lmao had to skip ahead, ugh, and ofc he or she lost, the player sucked ass lmao

You can see that almost every time they tried to take an opportunity to attack the Emperor player had them completely locked down and could bait anything. Exdeath has absolutely awful framedata and Emperor has almost no attacks he can reliably omni counter (feeding a trap with a counter is extremely predictable, and predicting is the core of Emperor). Of course he couldn't be aggressive vs him.

When you play against Emperor, you're playing HIS game, not yours. I think Exdeath could've used Grand Cross and Black Hole to his advantage more, but he overall played well by minimizing his risk against Emperor.

This is literally the entire video. Both fighters constantly dodges each others’ moves, expecting the other to attack while only throwing some pathetic magic spells. Now, I’m not saying I would’ve done any better, but I would get straight to the point much sooner than either of them. Some of their characters had bravery to hp link, so why not capitalise on that to slowly whittle away the oppoenent’s hp? It’s not like cure is a frequently used spell here anyway
