@@dmtaboo_truth7052 It's just in a very, very weird spot. It's effectively a 3100g early game item, which is really expensive. It builds from Kaya, which people typically want to build Kaya-Sange (HP, status resist, healing amp) or Kaya-Yasha (movement speed, armor, attack speed). The active is also very awkward for a lot of heroes. It is specifically either an item that helps you farm when you have no farming abilities (which Bane suffers from greatly) or a teamfight/pickoff item where you can reliably land the stun. The problem with these things is that most heroes that would buy Kaya into Hammer (heroes that want INT and spell amp) usually farm pretty well through their kit, so they don't need the farming power. This means that you want to use it for fights or sieging. But then most heroes also would rather just keep attacking that can set up the stun to begin with. Lina, for instance, could make use of it. But she wants to attack because of her steroid. You see it on OD because he has zero CC (banishment isn't a CC, it's removal) and it gives him time to autoattack more which is what he wants to do. Basically it's just a really awkward item. The problems it solves aren't problems on most heroes. Which is largely a result of it building from Kaya when KnY/KnS are overall better items and the things offered by Hammer are just... kinda meh. For teamfight/pickoff, people would rather make things like Force, Eul's, Aether/Eblade, etc. Which are all either similar or cheaper and much more impactful.
