As I am from this area I want to tell you Satya Bhai • Anuppur is pronounced as अनूपपुर • Chirmiri is pronounced as चिरमिरी . • Satya bhai, that is Marhi Mata Mandir near Bhanwartonk village. Constructed in 1871. Navratri mein yaha bht shradhaalu aate Hain aur kaagaz mein apni manokamna likhte hain. • That train is Bilaspur - Chirmiri (Express) which runs at night and and Chirmiri - Anuppur (Passenger) • In that area BSP - Anuppur Section, Chana Masala is quite popular food in trains. AC mein nhi aate honge bechne... • Achanakmar is pronounced as अचानकमार • Kalinga Utkal doesn't go via Bhopal it goes via Katni Murwara, Saugor and then from Bina it merges in Delhi Mainline.

The temple you saw before the tunnel way... the name is Marahi Mata Mandir, the trible goddess. This temple was small earlier and made by railways staff. There is a story behind this temple: Railway locomotive pilots were used to devote coin or coconut to the goddess before passing through the bridge and tunnel. One day a pilot didn't do this or was escaped diue to some reason and the train accidented. From that onwards the goddess is being worshipped by everyone. Now the temple prosperity is growing.

This is 2023, and 18 years ago only one train used to travel this route, no ACs, only sleepers and general classes. Night travel during winters used to be unbearable. 11 coaches, out of which 5 coaches were taken out at Anuppur junction, locals used to call this 5 coach train as BBM ( Bisharampur Bijuri Manendragarh ) , two trips between these three stations as passenger train, it used to come back again at night as Bilaspur passenger. Joins itself again with the other half, coming from Shahdol, at Anuppur, and then Bilaspur as it’s final destination as a full 11 coach train. Crazy old memories.

trains in katni bilaspur route makes u cry they give priority to goods trains over passenger trains, on an average they run 10 goods trains over one passenger trains and sometimes they join two goods train and make it worse .
