You both are so relaxing to watch. I'm here because of a great book I'm currently reading "The Night Tiger" by Yangsze Choo- and it's set in Ipoh and Batu Gajah and so I was curious to know what those places look like. The book is set in the 30s but it's such a good book! Happy Chinese New Year xx

YES! I am so pumped for this episode. Love your Malaysia content. Yen and I are 100% confirmed to come end of the year so we gotta catch up. Market lane looks super cool especially with the street art. The chicken and prawn noodle looks super yum, Yen would be sure to love it. Thanks for the unique Taugeh facts too hahahahaha. The Waterfall was nice too, but it would have even looked cooler without the signage :) Man Tau Eu Bak looks like a dish for me soooooo SHIOK!
@PuriandSue5 жыл бұрын
That's great to hear!! We'll definitely have to catch up! We really like the umbrella set up at the market lane 😆 and the street art was pretty fun to look out for. Yea could have put the signage elsewhere, luckily that is just a man-made waterfall, probably they wanted to make it look "grand", but there goes our nature 😩 I think you both have a long list of food to eat when you're in Malaysia 😍

Hello Puri and Sue, Thank you for the amazing videos. They’re a great help for me to plan our trip to Malaysia next month. I just wanna ask you a question regarding planning the cities to visit in order to make the best of tourism in 2 weeks time. Our plan goes: Langkawi 2days→Penang 2days →Kuala Lumpur 6days Do you think I can squeeze 2days in Ipoh in my KL stay? Or would it crop the plan to thoroughly tour KL during the remaining 4days? Also do think going to Ipoh directly from Penang is better or shall I land in KL then drive to Ipoh? Sorry for the lengthy questions😅
@PuriandSue2 жыл бұрын
Hi @Raniya. Thanks for watching our videos 😄 Yes, I think you could squeeze in 2 days in Ipoh for sure. We'd go to Ipoh directly from Penang as it's almost halfway to KL anyway.

Hi, I am was born in Batu gajah and I lived in Ipoh. I went back to Ipoh in January 2020 . Thank u for showing my home town and places for eating out and sightseeing places. Perhaps you don't have enough time to go to Buddha caves, up to the mountain resorts ,tea plantation etc. Maybe u would be back to Ipoh and show me around on KZbin once again. Thank u
@PuriandSue4 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for the comment. We'll definitely be back to Ipoh again one day. We've visited Cameron Highlands recently as well: kzbin.info/www/bejne/onrOamh6jpWNgNE . For places of worship and religious sites, we try to keep our channel neutral, so we decided not to feature religious places to respect each others belief 😄

Wanna bring my friend to all of these places. Is it halal? Cuz some of my friend very particular in food
@PuriandSue5 жыл бұрын
Hi there! Most of the food above are non halal (probably except the Nasi Kandar), however, there are some halal restaurants available around that area which are Muslim friendly. Places like Sunway lost world of Tambun, there's food stalls in the theme park, which are halal certified. There's a blog by havehalalwilltravel on ultimate halal food guide in Ipoh, probably you can check out their food list ;) Hope you and your friends will enjoy Ipoh! 😄
