This channel is among KZbin's best sources of science education. I found these lectures extremely helpful as supplementary lessons while I worked toward an M.S. in biotechnology in 2016 and 2017. I was able to graduate and have moved on to PhD studies in biopsychology, and since I've watched hours upon hours of their videos, I must thank Andrey (the lecturer) and Alex (the developer) for creating stellar content that helped me succeed. Cheers!

I'm a broke student now but when I finally get a job, first thing is making sure that I sent regular donations on your way :) Thanks as always. PS, as a suggestion for future I think it be really interesting if you do a couple biochemistry lectures on CRISPR

Isn't Adenylosuccinate lyase used in the 2nd step in generating AMP? Or are they the same enzyme? Because the 2nd step isn't using an energy providing substrate like synthetases use.

Great video and explaining! just have to adjust something, to actually create IMP out of 5-phorybosyl-amine in these 10 Steps we dont only need aspartat , glycine and tetrahydrofolat we also need HCO3 and Glutamine.CO2 donates a C-atom and Glutamine donates a N-Atom. however as I said great video, keep up the good work. greetings from Germany
