I was bored so I tried to figure out the symbolism of this song and what it means. I believe that it's about being excluded and bullied. "Seawater is flowing from the middle of my thighs" Seawater represents blood, indicating horrible suffering. "As wild buffalo are dancing on clifftops in skies" The wild buffalo symbolize free individuals, and, "clifftops in skies" indicates that they have been placed at a height unreachable to whomever this song is about. The dancing symbolizes mockery. "Adorn me in feathers from dead birds" Dead birds are ugly and their feathers would be bloodsoaked, but adorn means to make more beautiful. This line means the character is so ugly to everyone else that they are hidden with something less ugly. "Put shutters on my eyes" means they hide the character's soul and block out their obvious suffering. "They'll cover the hills with their sweet flesh and soft nails" They will manifest their beauty and happiness to the character. "They'll cover the doors with the screens that their minds disposed." They use screens to keep the character from entering their paradise, and also consider the character to be so worthless that they don't even waste valuable materials on keeping her out. "Write down the names and the dates of the daughters who pour out of me like grandmother's vines" Birth is great suffering, these daughters represent moments of intense pain. "My eyes see their fake, pretty long lashes and beards" This line states that their happiness and beauty only appears real to the character, to make her jealous. "Guarding the reign of me from them" Keeping the character out of their fake happy world. "Gathering rain in their sockets and creases and holes" Being filled up with purity with and washed clean. "They'll weave their own souls into the frame to grow their foliage in" They'll trap themselves worse than they are already trapped into their own issues to continue to produce their fake happiness that torments the character. "They'll sew their own hands into their beds to keep them crawlers out" They'll trap themselves (into their comfort zone of not opening up about their own issues) just to keep the character from being happy. The character's happiness is the crawlers.
