After a show in (2015) Las Vegas they took time to sign merch and talk to fans, I tried to make my comments quick but she told me “don’t rush, I’ve got time”. I’ve met a lot of entertainers but none with such grace.

I was really nervous to listen to them live cause of the style of music but there’s not deterioration of quality in the performance versus the recorded studio version. I love these guys because there are so many dimensions to their music. Complex but beautiful lyrics, a really simple yet also complimentary melody and I give them a pass on their use of auto tune because they use it as an extension of the song itself. All their elements of all their songs compliment each other wonderfully.

I have to say I'm beyond impressed.. I love their songs but I never listened to them live and I was amazed about how good her voice is. Her voice in the album versions sounds autotuned but it's actually not even close o.o

It's definitely auto-tuned, but it's being used as an effect. Watch their acoustic versions and she can 100% hit every note almost perfectly. Like the other guy said, pitch correction software imparts a certain sound, and obviously in their case they thought it fit well. They were right.

One time I was hanging out "downtown" near some bars and shoppes. It was getting dark and a crowd was forming. I didn't know what was going on but there was music and as time progressed we were suddenly front row for a Cirque du Soleil show. There was like 5 or 6 people doing tricks with fire. Hula hoop girl, fire breather, fire lasso thingy. That was the first time i heard Purity Ring. The performers were dressed up like a Mad Max movie. It was really cool. A free show up close and personal.
