Well to be fair the bastard killed at least 16 kids to inhabit the Classic, Toy, and the core Funtime Animatronics as well as The Puppet. There could possibly be more due to the fact that there’s the Minireenas, the Bidybabs, Bon Bon, the Shadow Bonnie and Freddy (Who May be linked to Fredbear/Spring Freddy and Spring Bonnie) and those Endoskeletons that occasionally just walk around. When you realize that when you get springlocked, you are essentially choking on your own blood while also feeling every part of your body in agonizing pain whilst they are also turning into soup (explains why Springtrap has no fleshy arms and legs). And this probably might be close to how it feels: You scream in agonizing pain but you start to choke on your own blood a bit later whilst losing the ability to stand or even move at all. All I have to say is that, if William didn’t inject himself with Remnant in the 80s, William would’ve been a fucking **dead man**. It is a fucking bloody miracle that William is still alive after that. He is quite literally now just a fleshy skull with a torso with bits of him fused with the animatronic. The very one he used to lure and kill children with. William Afton is on a whole fucking level of crazy, and I absolutely love a good villain like that.

this death is even more disturbing because this audio allows you to realize his death wasn’t instant like we thought, but was actually long and gruesome. it was deathly pressure ripping through his entire body, being stabbed and impaled by hundreds of steel needles but not quite killing him. because the skull is the strongest part of the human body, the crush of his skull is likely what killed him. meaning the last thing he felt before he died would have been those dozens of needles crushing through his skull right before death. brutal, but absolutely deserved.

"if you trigger those spring locks, two things will happen: first the locks themselves will snap right into you, making deep cuts all over your body, and a split second later, all the animatronic parts, all that sharp steel and hard plastic will instantly be driven into your body. You will die, but it will be slow. You’ll feel your organs punctured, the suit will grow wet with your blood, and you will know you’re dying for long, long minutes. You’ll try to scream, but you will be unable to: your vocal cords will be severed, and your lungs will fill with your own blood until you drown in it."

The detail in the voice acting and sound design is absolutely astonishing. The laughing in the beginning as William is convinced that he has outsmarted the spirits of the dead children, and then being cut off by the first few springlocks digging into him. At this point, his mind hasn’t fully processed the immediate danger, mainly because the natural human reaction to just having one springlock jabbed into your skin would be “That hurts, but I can get it out later”. I would also imagine that the springlock activated in one of his arms or legs, and if it is just one it wouldn’t be super painful… yet. But then you hear the bone cracking and the blood just gushing onto the floor and you hear William gasp in utter shock as a heavy thud signifies that he has fallen to the floor in some way, probably in a sitting position like how it is depicted in FNAF 3. As William struggles for a little bit, you hear a delayed springlock jab into him, and at this point William is feeling something akin to being stabbed over and over by a relentless murderer, what with the old and rusty springlocks and their delayed uncoordinated activations. At that precise moment is when William scream out loud since the pain is encompassing more than just one or two more inconsequential parts of the body. You hear William audibly scream out for help as you hear a springlock that is stuck on one of William’s bones just slowly crack it open. That bone breaks and you hear William fall down again from struggling and you hear him coughing a little combined with his pained groans since he is using all of his lung power to scream. Now at this point William is probably just struggling on the floor, too weak and in pain to stand up. And then you hear one more set of delayed springlocks going off, hammering the final nail into the coffin as William screams in horrible agony one last time. I did not need to see anything to figure any of this out, that is how impressively detailed the voice work and SFX is. If this sort of voice and sound effect work could be combined with visuals that matched this level of detail, it would make for one of the best gruesome scenes in media history let me tell you
