You’re such a daredevil with experimenting with background colors😊. This background does work well with the purples, but, like most, I love the black, but black does hinder using the darker shades. I can envision this being beautiful on a light purple background too. Beautifully done my friend💜🤎💜🤎💜🤎💜🤎

I love this color combination on the brown background. Just lovely!!! Sometime purples on blackground while stunning, can be a little too Halloween-ish or gothic in my home decor. This is more softer elegance combined with wonderful sparkle. New subbie!!!

Do you find the Faber-Castell watercolor pencils are easy to remove prior to covering in resin? I have these watercolor pencils but haven't seen anyone on KZbin using them for Dot painting. So I have been reluctant to using them.

They are the only ones I use. I had tried a regular brand and struggled to get the white removed from black. My daughter suggested this brand and I love it!!! So far so good 😊

@@Lyn4817 I haven’t had a problem with mine yet. I think the key must be using light pressure and choosing a color least damaging to your base color. Like.. gray on black or off white on white. I use contrasting colors only so you can see my lines on video. It doesn’t seem to matter much on black paint.
