Awesome, Thank you. Just keep practicing... it takes a hot minute to figure it all out. I think paint consistency is a big player in getting better swooshes, and don't be afraid to use more paint on that dotting tool :) Good Luck. I really appreciate all your support, Ann. wow, amazing how the pearls add so much beauty to your piece, I love it, it’s so beautiful. I’m so so new at dotting but I’m having a great time practicing, those swooshes, you make them look so easy. 🤣🤣🤣maybe my hands are not as steady as I have decorated cakes for 42 years and have squeezed a lot of frosting with these hands. But I’m getting better and better with each piece. Thanks for sharing your beautiful art with us.

I was overly impressed with those pearls. I totally get the cake decorating hands.. I use to do that too but not professionally. I quit doing it because squeezing the bags hurt my hands and it was more pain than fun. I have no earthly idea how painting doesn’t hurt my hands but it never does. Those swooshes are a lot easier if you remember to go slow. The slower you go the longer the swooshes are. It only looks fast in videos because they are sped up. Also, paint consistency is a huge factor. Try practicing with some watery paint and thick paint. Find the consistency that you like best and aim for it every time. Check my website for additives that I use that make paint thicker/thinner. You can totally do this. If I can help just let me know ♥️♥️♥️🤗

Beautifully stunning❤️❤️. I’ve been craving to paint a rock because I’ve been only doing wine glasses, Christmas ornaments and mugs for quite a while. So the whole time I was watching this video I was trying to figure out if I have a big enough rock to make this….it’s so perfect!! So, if you’ve been watching then you know I can be resourceful or at least frugal 😂😂😂 this palette spinner is nothing more than a paper plate I painted black with an arrow in hopes I’d quit dipping in the wrong color. I’m making a video on it now. I’ve used the same one for 3 years. Goofy, I know but it works. I want to say it’s a 9” paper plate from Walmart. They have a generic brand called Great Value.
