Purple Rain: LIVE at the Arcada Theatre

The Purple Xperience, a five-piece tribute band hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, has been zig-zagging around the country since February of 2011, bringing the memories of Prince and The Revolution to audiences of all generations. Led by original keyboardist Matt "Doctor" Fink of Prince and The Revolution from 1978 to 1991, The Purple Xperience leaves no one disappointed.

OK.... as a huge, huge fan of Prince - and many people told me they heard him in my voice as well - I never thought that I would like or even care for any prince tribute, as in, an imitator of Prince. However, this was amazing!! You somehow still did your own spin on it with the neo-soul guitar and the echo on the voice. Prince would've have been proud! RIP The Great Purple One

Understandable that certain people want to pay tribute and mean well, but there are some things and people that need to be left alone...no one can adequately impersonate Prince or play the guitar like Prince did. It's like someone posted on this particular video...I think! Anyway, they said you can't replicate, only dedicate! We can live vicariously through him with his music...HIS music! Do not need people trying to impersonate him...it's an absolute impossibility!! Prince was a true one-of-a-kind!! But, I will give the guy credit...he did his best!
