The best part of Alan’s videos is how he leaves some things to interpretation, but here’s the most common explanation for Purple’s backstory: His Dad was hard on him, forcing him into fighting, but no matter how hard Purple tried, he wasn’t good enough. His father eventually leaves him, and Purple loses his mother. From then on, Purple tries to become good enough to earn his fathers favor, even if he isn’t there anymore. This is why he becomes a king in Minecraft, and tries to prove himself by getting the Elytra and dragon egg. In Animation vs League of Legends, he’s hard on himself after losing, which originally is seen as him being a sore loser. He feels as if he wasn’t good enough. He sees a father figure in the King, and is willing to betray and use others to get to his goal of being good enough. But when he is almost there, he himself is betrayed by the King. And if the king won’t accept him, he feels no one ever will. His dad walks away from him, as he now has no one. Green is one of the most loyal stickfigures, and going after Purple was probably the only time he left his friends. Green is also a perfectionist and good at almost everything he does. Green tells Purple that he is already good enough for him and his friends, who accept him. Notice how when Purple creates a halo to show he’s good now, Green wipes it away, as Purple doesn’t have to be defined as good or bad. He just has to be himself. *EXPLANATION* Just to clarify... Purple's dad isnt an abusive father. He's just teaching what Stick Figures. Fight. But Purple couldn't handle it. We all know Purple isn't the best fighter. That's why his dad left him. After his mom died, his dad was the only family he had left. He didn't want revenge, he wanted "CLOSURE" with his father. He wanted to fix their relationship thinking that's what his mom wants. But it's obviously not gonna be that easy. He has a long way to go. So he climbed. He climbed to the top. He conquered the village, became a king, he stole the Dragin Egg thinking that would impress his dad. But he didn't work, so he fell. He wanted to try again. And he's got a long way to go. He saw that King Orange was already at the top, thinking King might be able to help him getting closer to his dad. So he pushed the stick gang out of the way, he did terrible things to get to the king, to get to his dad. But the king betrayed him, so he fell straight back down to the bottom. Now he's alone. No father, no mother, no friends. Good thing Green was there! 😁

Very late but what I think happened is his father wanted him to be strong so he kept fighting him but Purple would always lose and the mom didn't like the fighting so he left them because they were both weak to him
