My favorite part of this is that unless you are going to a higher end specialty shop, any wasabi you get in the US is actually just colored horseradish (wasabi and horseradish are from the same plant family). Makes the sushi bit even funnier to me. EDIT: Actually, the fact that he used the top of the bread as the bottom and visa versa is really great.

Fun fact. Real wasabi is incredibly expensive so the "wasabi" you get in the US is a mixture of horseradish, hot mustard and green food coloring. This sandwich is mostly horseradish.

The noodle sandwich doesn't use bacon. It uses prosciutto which is much different. Prosciutto is taken from the hind leg of pigs and usually salt cured. The salt curing process is a lot longer which makes it safe to eat without cooking so it's generally eaten raw on sandwiches and salads and whatnot

I've heard that prosciutto is a fancy ham and ham is Canadian bacon so basically it doesn't even matter.

@ilikegaming6058That is not remotely how that works. Bacon is derived from a different cut of pork depending on the region, but American bacon is specifically pork belly. It is also typically smoked rather than cured, although some varieties are cured as well. Prosciutto is classified as a variety of ham, but is typically cured in a very different process and is often far drier than regular ham found in most delis due to being cured for much longer periods. Canadian and English/Irish bacons are themselves derived from the loin across the back, which is entirely different from ham, and are also typically cured or smoked in a different manner.

Jack, as a Culinary student, I can confirm that you have indeed, excellent cooking skills. Tbh, you know way more than some of my peers, so I applaud you 👏 Edit: When cutting an avocado, take your knife, starting at the top and slicing down around the avocado so that it splits in half lengthwise. Then take the bottom section of your knife and stab it into the avocado pit. Then twist and pull out, and remove pit. Then, take your smaller knife, and cut lengthwise strips into your avocado half. Take a spoon, and carefully take the avocado out bybarely scrapping the skin. Avocado slices... TAH DAHHHHHH!

In the kitchen I work at, I cut into the avocado and turn it until its cut 360 degrees all around. Then I use a knife to get the seed out and scoop the avocado out with a spoon

For the measurements you should get a measuring cup for cups, and some measuring spoons that come in 1 cup to 1/2. OH don't forget the table spoons with the sizes. For rice you have to be very sure it's done or you may get sick from it.

Your reaction to horseradish is surprising to me since I eat a lot of this stuff, basically it's a strong tasting root used kinda like mustard or wasabi, but it's not as strong as the latter. I like it on my potatoes in my case but it goes well with sausages or meat as well (especially in Pot-au-feu). Mansplaining Man away!
