Kwesi has done a tremendous job clearing out dead money while building a competitive squad. I can see a Super Bowl championship is in our future. I haven’t felt this positive about the long-term prospects of this team since the 1970s.

Kwesi is definitely showing signs of improvement as he is growing thru trial and error. The learning curve for a GM must be immense. I think he has tweaked the scouting department to the point that the group as a whole is collaborating on finding current talent that is available to fit the Vikings needs and scheme. The draft seems to be still a little shaky and we have seen him go from one extreme (trading back vs. more recently trading up) to another. They (the scouting department) seem to be better at evaluating NFL free agent talent then potential college talent.

Hats off to Kwesi. I was definitely not a fan early on and was critical of many of his early decisions. We’re here now the team looks a lot better and the cap space is looking great for next year. Good job Kwesi!!!

I've been saying this for Kwesi's first two years--he had to hire a coach, get the cap situation under control, make the roster younger, find a quarterback, and change the culture from the toxic mess where Speilmann and Zimmer refused to talk to each other. He's done all of the above, plus finding lots of hidden gems in the UDFA piles.

Big snub, especially with Bobby Bryant in town. The blocked field goal attempt in the NFC championship game in 1976. Bobby Bryant returned it for a TD. That was the game-changer that put the Vikings in the Super Bowl that year.

I think we need to ease off on the throttle a bit with all this praise talk. We need to remember to stay humble and remember that we are a couple injuries away from Stone cold misery. Let’s take this one game at a time and pray that we make it into December healthyIsh. My grandfather is a healthy 97 years of age. He has been a diehard Vikings fan since the franchise was born. What if: The Vikings draft Heisman winner Marcus Allen in 1982 7th overall instead of that garden gnome Darrin Nelson, who didn't even want to play for the Vikings and threatened to sit out? Had they done that, the Herschel Walker trade never happens, and the Vikings win a minimum of 3 Super Bowls. We wouldn't have had to watch that 4th down pass sail over the head of 5'3 Darrin Nelson in the 1987 NFCCG because with Allen, we would've been taking a knee on a double digit win. Imagine what Allen would've done in the Super Bowl against the Broncos if some nobody named Timmy Smith could put up 200 yards on them.

Here's what to do. Find a weak team, Panthers, Broncos, Ravens, any 0-2 team. Offer them next year's No. 1 for there starting center and right guard, maybe even give them Ingram and Bradbury, who cares. the line has been upgraded. Next, as Darnold gets better, at the end of the year, trade Darnold for TWO no. 1's.
