Dr. Patton, thank you for this lecture and the examples you provide. You have made the right emphasis on how to position graduate research work is the pursuit of high-quality standards. I find the aspect of understanding and honoring a particular type of research purpose a key learning point in this lecture. The information you have provided clarifies how to systematically refine a dissertation research plan, at the very initial preparatory stage of developing a rooted logical alignment of the different components - research problem, purpose, and question. It is unfortunate that the aspect of understanding and positioning a research plan according to a type of research purpose is not emphasized or addressed in the initial dissertation course. So this kind of are the videos that shows up for recommend videos to me. But still couldn't give me no answers and my action/doing got me a video describing what my action/doing. But for what I been doing but still could not really get a why as of 2018 that why is it that not the opposite way around. Shouldn't knowledge be given instead having to waste time on to do what is scholar. Right or No still need to mislead me on more for what I been wanting answer to?
