I love how you put up 3 John 1:4. You said that having your children walk in truth and in the ways of the Lord is the most important and everything else is just extra. I totally agree and am so glad to hear it from another mamma. I thought that was neat that you mentioned the minimal mom’s idea too. Family of 5 here in a two bedroom house. And in my kids room, (3 little ones) I have a wall dedicated to there home education i have the white board, calender, small book shelve(i need a bigger one) and other posters 😆 but we do our circle time, and such in the room then when we move on to our curriculum we do it in our dinning room/kitchen and it works. My kids love school time. And im still decorating and seeing how I can make my home education be more comfortable and fun for my kids. Love this video, given me ideas even in my small house. My in laws keep trying to discourage us choosing to homeschool because the lack of space and because my husband is the only income we have.. but they don't realize how much we have faith in God to provide and how we manage pretty well by the grace of God. But Thank you for the video. Im definitely going to use my walls more, going to have my husband put up some shelves.. feel like that will help having such a small area to work with. God bless

This is my 1st year homeschooling. Right now, we are going with our school district's independent studies curriculum. Is that a good option? Hi Dina! Loved your video. Concerning your pencil sharpener...have you checked to see if a piece of lead is stuck in the sharpener? That has happened before with our sharpener. Sometimes the lead will drop right out, and other times that thing makes me work like the dickens to get it out!!! I certainly hope that that's all that's wrong with it. But if you haven't had it that long, I'd definitely take it back to where I bought it and let them know what happened. Blessings to you and your family!

I got those on Amazon. They're linked in my Amazon Shop. 😁 I them up and then keep the ones I want to keep. Those go in my Memory Binder box and then at the end of the year I put them in their individual Memory Binders. 😁

Yes it's just another name for morning basket. But in an actual Symposium they meet to discuss various topics. So it fits. 😉

We use the Letter of the Week program from Confessions of a Homeschooler. I have a Preschool and Tot school playlists where I talk and show all we use. 😁❤

When I had thought I wanted this same pencil sharpener I read reviews and watched some videos. Pretty much most people said theirs didn't last long. It's a common issue. When I saw in your haul you had purchased it I was hoping it would work out for you.

After reading several reviews I figured less is more and opted for old school. Less mechanics sometimes make for less issues. The only real issue we have is the vacuum seal. With the pencil sharpener- its likely a small piece stuck at the bottom. This is going to sound aggressive, but.... slam that bad boy upside down a few times either onto your hand or on a table. Ours gets jammed all the time... #kidsbreakeverything

I don't have them all sitting there at once. At the most it's 2 at a time. 😁 They would most definitely fight or distract each other if they all sat there at once. 😉
