funny how the throttle was stuck until he went to turn as you see the car slow down significantly. Then the car speeds up. Sucks to suck and try and play the blame game. They can pull the computer and look at the throttle imput and the brake input to show what was happening.

I tried it and it worked about the same as a normal key turn ignition vehicle. Truck in drive, moving at about 25 MPH. Pushed the "push to start" button. Engine stopped, all sorts of warnings, truck slowed down and came to a stop. (Amateur driver on flat, straight gravel road with good visibility and no traffic. Do not try this at home, or on the freeway, or on a steep hill.)

If your accelerator gets stuck , do the following: Shift to neutral. Apply the brakes. Keep your eyes on the road and look for a way out. Warn other drivers by blinking and flashing your hazard lights. Try to drive the car safely off the road. Turn off the ignition when you no longer need to change direction. Why did he not do any of this ??? LOL

First off I have a peddle commander and they don’t cause your car to get stuck at wide open throttle and second even if it were possible and the throttle did stick open all you have to do is shift the car into Neutral. 😂

Need to check the GPS readings. When trooper is stationary it read 10mph initial stop and registered 5mph after cuffing the gentleman. While he attempted to talk to Siri the gps read 5 mph. The gentleman was awfully calm after the crash.

Not the sharpest guy in town. Shall we count the facts? 1. Driving at speeds up to 168 mph. 2. Endangering the lives of his own, the troopers involved, not to mention countless others. 3. Felony flee charges, plus the speeding ticket. 4. Possible loss of personal insurance, and perhaps revocation, since it's a CDL 5. Likely loss of job since he's obviously a driver. Trucking companies are insured by high risk carriers ... Theyre stringent on drivers' traffic violations, safety issues etc... (this one won't go well.) I worked the trucking business. They're serious about drivers' records. 6. Picked up a felony in the process. The court's not gonna buy the stuck throttle business either. Im sure they've heard it before. 7. Damage to his car, maybe totalled? This young guy will probably be years digging himself out of the huge hole he dug for himself tonight ..... All due to stupid choices that could've ended differently. Choices we make can create problems that in the longrun can be devastating.

Stop trying to explain to him, he does not care what you’re saying. Challenge the charges in court , you’re not guilty because he says you are.
