Deep respect for the truckers that held back to start with and allowed smaller vehicles to go ahead. Plus those that actually slowed down when they could not move over because of the heavy traffic. Last mile of I55 before the Mississippi River bridge crosses into Tennessee. Once they cross the state line, ASP will suspend pursuit. And Memphis police could care less about continuing pursuit.

After a few hours, they caught and arrested the driver. He has a Honduran passport and can't speak English. DUI and regular driving charges. I'm surprised they didn't find drugs.

Let's unpack this. Usually the pursuing Trooper pulls up along side to count how many are in the vehicle, before the TVI. He could have waited for backup. And laws can be updated and changed WITH justification and votes. If ASP is in pursuit of a felon fleeing, and the state line comes up. You either continue pursuit, radio ahead, get neighboring State Police to resume pursuit. This is handing a catch over to the next jurisdiction. It works in all four directions, hello. DON'T SAY IT CAN'T BE DONE! "We" created this mess. "We" allowed these Imported Criminals to prey on U.S. citizens. "We" deserve better for our families 🚒🚑🚓🚔.😊

Now the law should go after who's ever car it was. They knew he didn't have a license. Who ever owns the car. Is stuck with a wrecked car. Because Insurance won't pay for it. If they had insurance. He thought if he made it to the state line. He would be free. I bet that was a hard hit. Alot of concrete on both sides of lanes. Plus, they had to deal with the mosquitos. 😂😂

Ok, someone explain to me the pertinence of charging a person with “refusal to submit to chemical test” when the results of being found guilty is suspension of a drivers license they didn’t have in the first place?

@@e.m.5499 If they lost their license for two years and they have, for example, 1 year left on the suspension refusal automatically adds at least one more year and has a stiff fine.
