Why not put a large swivel caster instead of the straight axle at the third wheel. This would allow you to make a sharp turn without digging up the turf. You prob wont need the rope if it swivels where ever it wants to go with all three wheels on the ground. 🤔

Never had a problem with this setup. You could definitely add a swivel caster in replacement of that front wheel. Simply put, for me, it's not worth the cost or my time.

Good job! I used to push one around with an 8 horse I/C Briggs flat head and it would FDO some work TILL the PB400's came out. Good backing too. I've got to have mirrors! Blessings 2 U!

there’s no way you can go back to a backpack blower after using one of these i got the crapsmen 5.0 walk behind blower the neighbors would laugh at me with my electric 150cfm handheld on a .75 acre lawn. they ain’t laughing now

Just bought one today off marketplace after 3 years of blowing an acre with a 40v hand blower. The neighbors are definitely not laughing at me anymore either 😂

I did the same thing only I put a pipe over the axle and made a tongue off of that. Don't have a problem with the machine tipping

It's a 9 HP Subaru engine model. I have one also but has a really bad vibration to it because a bad impeller. I put a impeller off of a Billy goat unit which are a composite impeller and lighter and much better balanced.

Yes I can. Because the blower wheels are close to the tractor, I have to make quick adjustments to back up in the direction I want.
