Actually, I used this vid to remove the push button switch from my Mustang. The button self destructed by accident (me)and since I had cut the green wire, there was no way to start it, and it had been years since I installed it, I had forgotten the location of the green wire to reconnect it. Since this vid covered all the bases it reminded me where the wire was located. Fired up and back on the road in 30.

Let's freaking go. I'm glad it helped you. That's why I didn't cut the wire. I was concerned that something like that could happen.

I just bought a 2008 Mustang GT with this installed. Is the original plug for the 12v charger still there for me to uninstall it?

It should be. Unless the previous owner cut it.

do you have to use the key to start the car still or can you just use the button now?

I still need the key to start the car for safety.

I don’t know what you did with the wires…can like explain it verbally?

You to splice the green and yellow wire from the ignition. That way, you can start the car with the key and/or the push button.

I mean... you can cut the green wire if you only want the push button to start the car, though.

The music sucks...makes it almost unwatchable. Stick to the subject matter. Explain why you are disassembling half the car. Does the push button have RFID or can anyone just start it? And how did the radio change?

Welcome to my channel. I'll answer your questions: * Send me the playlist you want me to include in my videos, and I'll add them. * I'll stick to whatever subject I feel like because it's my channel. * I'm disassembling "half the car" because I needed to do an oil change... * The key will still be needed to start it. * Subscribe to the channel, and you'll find out. Thanks for the feedback! Don't forget to like the video too. 🫶🏽
