I have seen these things violently abuse during MLB spring training and they just keep cutting. They will never cut as good as a reel mower, but at half the cost of a John Deere or Toro reel mower they are a very good option.

Pete, the party is over as of last night's frost here in Good 'ole NC !! Got all my fertilizer and seed down before our rains of October and November. My Fescue is like a carpet. We had a long Indian summer and my lawn rode it all the way until tonight.. Nov. 14. Last call for lawns in NC guys.

I mow my PRG between .5-.75 with a Swardman for the last 3 years and have replaced the drum, multiple cable and belts. The new drum is start to go again and I’m done with it. So I decided to go back to rotary and was looking for the one that went the lowest. At .75” and with a roller I think I found my new mower.

I have had this masport mower for two years now.. it’s a great mower and lays down stripes right out the box. My only problem is the blade doesn’t stay sharp long… the grass blade tips tears and turns brown. I put on a new blade and it did the same. I have Bermuda grass. I have replaced it with a McLain reel mower. I still use the masport rotarola but during the fall to bag leaves…overall it’s well built and good quality..

Considering Toros commercial 21" is now roughly $2000 and the Turfmaster 30" is almost 3K , $1600 for this isn't so bad. The only problem I have is, who is going to fix it when needed? And how hard is it to get parts? Other than that it looks great!

Hey Pete, I have a question I have CP and use a self-perpelled for trimming. I have to feather the self-perpelled. How well does the roller work for moving the mower at slow speeds? Blessings!!

yes it does well at slower speeds...BUT the manufactuer does recomend it be operated at full speed

Mr Pete in the video you say there’s no gear box but in the description it says gear driven. Am I miss understanding the description or are these 2 different things? Also what is the blade set up?

what i mean is theres no gears...like hear 1, gear 2, or gear 3....its more like a variable speed mower...

In the mower description, it says it is a bagging only mower and does not discharge. Farther down in the description it says it DOES rear discharge OR bag. Clarification?

Looks like it works great Pete! Say I've been watching some of your older videos about your spray trucks/ spray skids. I know you had mentioned a little bit ago about showing more high volume spraying. I just purchased my first GNC Skid sprayer for my business and am looking for more information on beginner tutorials on skid spraying. Like something you'd train your employee on. I am proficient in chemical mixing and rates. Just mostly need help in operation/ calibration tips/ Gallons per 1K you've found to work best for your business. Just curious if this is something you'd show or if you have suggestions on where I could get more information. Thank you!

Cool concept! Hopefully they have success so they start to lower the price a bit. $1600 for a 21" deck 190cc engine, no thanks. Don't think anyone who would purchase this would care about the height restriction tho given they're probably buying this for the roller and reel mower affect on their shorter cut turf. I could see myself paying $1200 for a 21" like this, but then again in this economy everything is so expensive and now built even worse in quality which this mower seems to be very good quality.
