I'm sorry to say but I'm not a fan of the rubber band solution because once you chain a few of those together, you're going to need quite a lot of force to get the pins to push. I would prefer to see a logic gate mechanism whereby a "power source" such as a central rotating or oscillating beam, connected to all logic gates in a mechanism, lets the gates reset after each computation.

You xan technically make a binary adder out of them

An XOR gate would be to hard to make as one gate but it could be done by linking multiple gates together

​@@BD_Technicyou could make so the a and b input have a diagonal line after their srtaight line inside the gate(to keep consistency), then, both line point at one direction, that way, when only one input is pushed, it can push the output, but if both are pushed then they interrupt eachother and can't push the output

What about XOR i know you Can use OR,s and NOT,s but is there a Way in Lego to do it a bit simpler?

idk I tried chaining these together to create an XOR gate but there was so much friction that I could barely move anything
