Just looking at this cover pic, I wish Harley-Davidson would get back into flat track racing. Tell AFT to take the restrictions off the Indian FTR750 and build a bike to go head to head with it.

vance & hines still make brand new XG750R's with harley-davidson on the gas tank...price is around $38,000

@@donniebaker5984 That platform couldn’t get the job done with an unrestricted Indian FTR750.

@@jbradkilpatrick when you are racing a XG750R against a FTR750 carry a 2x4 with you and when the FTR starts to lap you ,throw the 2x4 into the spokes of his front wheel , problem solved ! lol ...i live close to Indy and was at V&H world headuarters one day talking to Eddie Krawiec about left over parts from their XR1200 series ..and i ask Eddie "whats up with this XG750R parked oit back by the service doors " with a giggle Eddie replyed "that belongs to one of my mechanics that he rides back and forth to work ! can you imagine ! bahahahaha ! no fear just drop a gear and disapper through the woods and over the hills to grandmother's house we go
@danielsoutherd8 ай бұрын
@@donniebaker5984Unfortunately the xg750 was and always will be a joke. Harley tried to take a heavy road based bike and go up against a purpose built racing machine. They know better.

Seeing the stuff about Charlotte and that story… legacy. Makes me feel good about getting both my kids involved with motorcycles. My 7 year old helped me turn wrenches when I did my big bore. My 11 year old daughter loves to ride on the back and has helped me turn wrenches when I changed out my shocks. For the love of the road. Forever will be in my family now. Thank you Harley Davidson for giving myself and countless others these kinds of memories

Now why can't they put this much effort and technology into production bikes?? We the consumer actually have to pay for our own bikes so why shouldn't we get the same technology and performance. Instead they make us pay top price for unreliable junk that's an absolute pain in the ass to work on.
